so we've had a strange warm snap - the sun is out, it's 65 and the wife is off work for a whole weekend (that never,ever happens).
I had some family over yesterday so it was pretty much a wash but today we cleaned up the wife's old car and put a for sale sign in front of it.
tonight is homemade tomato soup and grilled cheese with a side of a movie of some sort. the last couple of weeks have been rough and i am completely beat and looking forward to a night of relaxation.

Gutter, I'm sadder that my mom has to live it. She was such a strong woman her whole life, even into her upper 80's you would have never guessed she was that old. She's just going down fast and she knows and hates it.

We've had that weather start moving in today. It was in the 20's this morning but into the 50's later in the day. Tomorrow should be beautiful.

My whole family is sick. It's not a debilitating sick, just a nagging one that is dragging on for over a week. yuck.

Have to go to target today to get supplies for my veggie pizza that I have every night (yep, same meal every night for the last 5 years, I do like to live on the edge). I like taking the kids there on weekends because they always have free samples of food. Kind of covers lunch

wow - looks like everyone is busy with real life.
we got the christmas decorations down this weekend,got the house straightened up and tried a couple of new recipes. we made a fire roasted tomato soup recipe that was especially good (and easy to make) and i think we're going to have it for dinner again tonight.
The weather turned gross again last night and i'm thinking the rest of the day will be pretty slack.
On the upside - my friend with the e-cig took a couple of cans of snus with him last week and it looks like he and his wife both dig it alot. His wife has been trying to quit smoking for years and it looks as if the snus accomplished it for her in a matter of days.They're going in halfsies on our next order and i'm pretty excited to see them get away from the cigarettes!!

Good morning. I got back late last night and then had to be into work this morning. My mom had a decent day Friday and not so good Saturday. I am glad we went to see her. The nurse said that she would have good days and bad days. We just don't really know for sure what's going to happen but with her heart and lung problems, it doesn't look good.
