its all good. i just did a big purchase myself today , picked up a 97 jeep cherokee TSi. i know its not spanking new , but with 87k on the clock , its as close i have come .

needless to say things arent looking so dull , i dont have to rely on my wifes parents to get me around and that always eases tension.

Good for you hova. That is a big deal. I am sure that takes a load off of you and honestly I don't think mileage on a vehicle matters as much as it did years ago. I had an explorer years ago that I started with 75k on and I sold it at 140k without any major issues while I had it. I think it matters more how someone takes care of it. I guess I hadn't asked but I take it that you are able to drive?

Hey gang. Feel like I've been neglecting y'all this week. It's definitely been a busy one. Today is my "Friday", though, so I'm feeling pretty good. I'm actually on the road tomorrow to go to one of my best friend's wedding in Maryland this weekend. Nothing like a 16 hour road trip with two 80 lb dogs! :-) Then it's a week of hanging out in my old hometown with friends and family. Should be a good time, so if I seem scarce for the next week, that's why.

Hova, that's great. I had an old Wrangler that ran just fine well over 140K. I tend to agree with hitt, that the mileage doesn't matter nearly as much now as it use to. As long as your keeping an eye on your oil and fluids and checking everything for wear, most late model cars will drive "forever."

Is there really an anti-snus blog?
Anti-smoking (or even anti-tobacco in general) sure, but specifically for snus?
I'd have thought it a bit fringe for a dedicated website (not too fringe for Finland however!)
Care to share the website address?

Good afternoon. Allco, sounds like a good time to me. It's been a long time since I've been back to my home town. Careful the dogs don't get into your snus stash while you're driving.

Kitabz, I saw where roth mentioned that and wish I could help but I don't know what the blog is.

Evenin' all . Things are clickin' along this week and I'm way behind on ....gee, everything, I s'pose.

hitt, go for the tv with her blessing, you'll be sorry if you don't. Openings are rare to say the least. Last Christmas I got my wife a Wii console, the fitness game along with the optional fitness board (she'd talked about it off and on since the previous summer) and for good measure, bought a 42" flat screen (big to me) during an after-Christmas sale at Sears to make it all more realistic for her. Unfortunately, I got accused of buying the tv for me (even though I rarely watch more than CNN when I first get out of bed and don't play video games) and it still gets thrown up now and then. I'll never live it down .

Welp, gotta close up shop and swab the poop deck, make way for my 3rd shift counterpart.

...oooow look, hitt's a "PV Master" now. I'll kneel in your presence, but worship is out of the question. Wow, and I remember when you were just a little grasshopper. Oh, how you've grown, my wayward son .

TV thanks for the thought but not really a master. Just when I had my favorite liquids down pat, someone sent me a sample of boba's bounty and I just had to order some. The tv and blu-ray are for sure. I paid for them last night and it will be delivered next Friday.

Axl I would order from getsnus. They are going to have the cheapest shipping which still isn't cheap. It'll start around $12 and go up a little depending on how much you order. The days of $5 shipping and a free can are gone.

yeah my surgeon says not to drive , and that the insurance company wont cover me , but they did , and i do. i probably wont finish going to him or the therapy...i am not such a good patient...

and im a mechanic by trade , so i look more for overall condition. toss in the "off lease instpector" and i can spot a dent or ding from a mile away. they were trying to push another jeep , an 00 with 190k , that was two quarts low on oil , and the front tires were messed up on the inside . they still wanted 5k for it...i laughed so hard.

luckily the wife said ok to anything i want for my car , as long as there is enough back seat to get the baby in if i have to...lol..

going for either a 70's beetle (and going to make it fast)
an early 80's golf (im going to make it really fast)
or an 80's audi 2 coupe. (im going to make is so fkn fast!)

so i still get to get my manual transmission , and if i look hard enough ill find the all wheel drive rally car of my dreams , then i plan on tucking all the wires and basically making it mint condition.

going to try to get into either the collector/customization market again , or go with transmission repair , and just do custom/restore in what little spare time i have left.
