We always have death to fallback on. Unless they come up with a zombie shot to keep us alive until all taxes and fines are paid. And I bet they still won't leave us alone about the evils of tobacco .

Recklessly toying with what little sanity I have with:

Good morning. All that talk brings back memories of sleeping in the rear third flip up seat of my parents' wood paneled station wagon on the way home from several late trips back from my uncle and aunt's house. I didn't get much of a chance to get on the forum yesterday. I got a call in the morning from my brother in law and he was having problems with his welder so he wanted to know if I would come over and fix it. I did and ended up spending a couple hours watching him weld some parts on a tank for his motorcycle. He bought a 1970 Triumph chopper that was in pieces and is trying to fix it up. He has had it running so far which is a good sign. The rest of the day is a blur. I'm not sure exactly what I did but before I knew it, it was 11:00 and I was off to bed to get ready to start another glorious week at work. So here I am on a Monday morning wishing I wasn't and posting instead of working. Don't worry I'll get to work soon. Just as soon as I finish and get a second cup of coffee. I have a couple days left of my precious two weeks of annual vacation so I'm going to use a day this Friday and a couple days after Christmas to spend some time with the kids. Someone has to put together and try out their new toys. Hi Ho, Hi Ho it's off to work I go with

Afternoon. I have a bad case of the Monday afternoon blahs and I thought what better to do than to come here and talk to myself. One of the dumb shxts from out front just came in and gave me a message to call someone because they were too stupid to answer the customer's question. I don't know for sure why but nothing will quite scratch the itch today and I'm in a crap mood. I just don't feel like being at work today and I am tired of the same lazy and dumb people here. Every day is like it's their first day. I tell the same people the same thing time after time and it never sticks to their skulls. I am definitely looking forward to this work day ending. I should have a really good work out tonight with the amount of hostile feelings I'm having today. It must be time for another portion. I'm not sure what's wrong with me today but I feel like I'm crawling in my own skin. Sorry if I'm dragging down the mood here.

You'll feel better after your workout Hitt. I promise.

I just did my workout. Why does my treadmill hate me? Honestly, I can't do the whole hardest program. It frustrates me cuz just once I'd like to do it. I have to cheat. My version of cheating is resting at 5mph on 0 incline for one minute. I only had to do three of those rests, and that's down from 5 or 7 so it is better. It is just a dang hard workout. If my treadmill was calibrated correctly I'm pretty sure I could do it without cheating. According to my outside running times, my treadmill is about 1mph off. Meaning when it says 5, it is going 6. This has always just pissed me off. I'm too stubborn to just lower it a mph to allow for this. That would be the smart thing to do, huh?
Anyway, hitt, maybe you should start acting like a blazing idiot at work so that everyone doesn't keep depending on you to pick up the slack. Something tells me you have too much self pride to do this though. Am I right?

nothing yet but a reallly harsh portion of something really soon

Evenin', hitt . Sounds like you're having a great day. It's probably a little worse than usual 'cause you'll have Friday off. It's like we have to pay a mental fine for having short weeks. I think we need to start a petition to have Monday removed from all weeks except holidays and vacations.

You don't see many of those anymore. My current ride is best described as a mutt chopper: 1967 Triumph frame w/hardtail that clears the pavement by less than 3", 35mm 12"-over fork tubes w/19" '82 Honda Nighthawk mag wheel, 16" Honda Nighthawk rear mag wheel, Mustang gas tank, custom stainless oil tank, '76 Harley Superglide headlight, '85 Yamaha turn signals, Custom Chrome speedo and taillight, late 80's Harley FX seat (king/queen), aftermarket bobbed rear fender w/custom 30" stainless sissybar (no front fender), Barrnett clutch cable and '01 Kawasaki Vulcan throttle cable, 12" mini-ape bars with generic controls, misc. other junk, all wrapped around a '92 Harley Evo motor w/ S&S carb and Baker 5spd tranny. And it all came from swap-meets or debris I had laying around .

Since we're a group of cutting-edge sophisticates and I have too much time on my hands time to contemplate the universe stay abreast of the latest happenings in society while screaming at the monitor, I feel compelled to aid you good folks in taking notice of the endless stream of horsesh!t informative postings. So, to help everyone stay on top of things in the new year, here's our future buzzwords. Remember 'em, use 'em and be the first on your block to look stupid like a forward thinker:

Palinism and Obama-mess among top words for 2011 | Reuters

The monitoring group's projected Top Words of 2011 are:

    1) Twenty-Eleven -- to pronounce the word 2011.

    2) Obama-mess

    3) Great Recession

    4) Palinism

    5) TwitFlocker -- a placeholder for the next big trend following Facebook and Twitter.

"TwitFlocker -- a placeholder for the next big trend following Facebook and Twitter."

I thought they were intending to use that expression for a member of congress, But maybe I've confused that new buzz word with FlockenTwit.
