Just ordered a neti pot like the one above - hope it may sort out my sinuses!
Scared to use it, but will make myself do it! Could that be goodbye to Post Nasal Drip?
BTW my doctor knows zilch re neti pots. ditto the pharmacist, so ordered via Amazon.
No point in being a snuffling while sniveling!

Thanks for the tip, Wiz! I watched a video of a lady using a neti pot but was mesmerised as she poured in one nostril and out the opposite one! How did she do that? Cannot very well visualise it. She was bending well over forwards - so I guess gravity makes that work! Nose down!

C....The one I use is actually a squeeze bottle version....so leaning to one side is at a minimum....I do have to bend over forward and point it towards the back of my head before squeezing. Never did understand how the water could travel like that without some pressure...like you said...Gravity I suppose. The end result is the same with the version that I happen to use...in one side, out the other!
Back to bed for me
Cheers!

Actually, no, you don't - you can use plain and simple table salt, or even better, natual sea salt. Approximately 0.9% of salt, or one gram per 100ml, is what you need.
Me, I simply tried with a small spoon and hot water until I got it right.

it's quite easy, and the neti pot i bought came with a handy instruction card, as well as a 30-page manual all about nasal products/problems.
you just need to lean forward, tilt to one side, breath thru your mouth, and pour. repeat for other nostril. EASY!

Does work well doesn't it sly!
I too amazed at the ease of use C. I had imagined all sorts of difficulties but the very first use proved to be simple. And effective.
A note to snufflings though. Do what ever you normally do, pick, blow, "nose gargle", first. Then use the neti.
That much more effective.
Also want to wait a little after use before going for more snuff. Gives the nasal mucosa a chance to refresh with mucous.

I think I'm gonna need one before my order gets here. Hopefully my local walgreens has this one: Neti Pot | Walgreens
