I'm cross-posting this thread here so that nobody misses it. FDA concerned dissolvable tobacco appeals to kids

I blame R.J. Reynolds for this mess....Up until recently Stonewalls and Ariva seemed to fly under the radar. With the marketing of the new sticks and strips it was only a matter of time before the boulder came crashing down! Another Big Tobacco Blunder IMO!! The Wiz!

Voltaire, Thanks for posting the link 'here'. You're right, sometimes I do miss things outside this part of the forum. I do use the Stonewalls and Ariva, as I know others do (and I have no desire to try to R.J.Reynolds because of the processing). Wiz, I never even thought of that connection and I bet you're right. Thanks again, Voltaire |

Well if BigTobacco wasn't actually targeting kids their wouldn't be a problem. They seem to have an obsession about getting teens hooked as early as possible, Camel SNUS is a good example. It tastes like candy, has just enough nicotine to get you hooked but not make you sick. Same thing with the dissovables, but no one in the FDA has enough common sense to see if their the same product. The only thing they know is 1) they go into your mouth, and 2)they dissolve. To that bunch of educated idiots their the same thing.
