Dang! Snus is WAY better than cigs ever were!

Okay, curiosity got the best of me, so I ordered the free trial pack from getsnus. I had smoked for about 30 years. I think I had gotten to the point where I could almost give up the vaping. I definitely had gotten to the point where I no longer missed the MAOIs that cigs provide... Enter Snus.
I popped in my first General mini mint about twenty mins ago. Hello MAOIs! Long time no feel! Within five mins I was getting a good buzz. Now I am sooo relaxed! I can see where these DO replace smoking for many people. I am almost mad that I tried them. I am an addict of the first order, and I am liking this a little too much. Occasionally I will puff on passionflower (some of the same MAOIs) suspended in VG in my PV... especially when I have been chain vaping. Helps me put it down... the PV that is. But that is nothing like this!
You guys on the smokeless subforum are some of the same "bad influences" that sucked me into the analog scene some 30 years ago. At the age of 46, I thought I was beyond peer pressure.. apparently not!
So, when people make e-liquid from snus, do the MAOIs translate well in the liquid?... Never mind, I wish I hadn't asked that. The addict in me is already thinking about my next fix! So, is the smokeless forum like the back alley where the "bad kids" hang?

lol, wait, I actually used snuff before I ever took a drag on a cig. Never got the hang of snorting anything. Can't even use nose spray, and a neti pot is out of the question.

Well, there's you're problem. With snuff, you sniff gently and enjoy. The neti pot really is quite an experience, but it works wonders.

yeah, I was just reading through the posts here and found where sly said:

You'll get little sympathy here for your fate. A lot of hopeless nicotine addicts on this side of the tracks who found a bit of nicotine bliss without the vast majority of harm associated with... that other way of getting nicotine/MAOI's/WTA. Kind of makes the PV look like a toy now doesn't it. If the minis are doing it wait till you try a standard snus. You might just decide the whole addiction thing isn't so bad after all.

How's that for a bad influence. LOL.

Edit: It's not likely you'll get a lot of MOAI's via vaping snus, though hard to tell as no real test have been done. The general consensus around here is "why mess with it when it's a lot less hassle to just use as intended".
