Yes I agree about the habit thing, I wold not know what to do with both my hands free all day long... and I know someone that quit using only drinking straws cut to the size of a cig.

I'm just trying to point out to a lot of the people that posted it might not just be nicotine.....

Ever think nicotine is the scape goat? and it might be something other then the nicotine we are addicted too?
I never bought the "nicotine only" addiction either. According to the FDA, you need to consume 5 mg. daily of nicotine to become addicted. I used the Carlton's that have .1 mg in each. So I would have to smoke 50 of them a day just to meet the minimum threashold for being addicted to nicotine--which I never did. I was at around 30 a day, so I was never addicted to nicotine, but sure as hell was addicted to smoking!!!

So their is either something else that was in them or the hand to mouth is just as addictive----That is my take on it----Sun

There are threads on the board discussing the MAO inhibitor type chemistry of tobacco cigarettes. Also cigarettes have freebase nicotine which NRT/ecigs do not have. We know several reasons why the rush & relief isn't the same with other products.

Your sarcasm is misplaced. Those users are spammers on other internet forums in addition to this one, as was made clear.

Hello! Friends I have a keen interest towards spiritual activities. I think that spiritualism is the best way to get linked with God. Over the past few days I have been looking for some spiritual e-books on Christianity reflecting the concept of the Bible. Where I can get these spiritual e-books?

so now the $64,000 question...
Why do some people like to ask questions whose answers seem to be so obvious?
