My quest for a mains/USB adaptor has failed, I tried the general electronic route i.e. Makro.... nada, then the computer peripheral route i.e. Incredible Corruption and Matrix.... nada. IC has an Ipod mains/USB charger for R349.... meh! Also unavailable are the wall battery charger and car charger, can't even order them off Twisp's website because they're not listed. Twisp just leave me powerless.

Steve at Cig-e.co.za has ipod charger kits available for around R70 - includes car charger and 2 pin wall adaptor. Alternately, contact Ann Becker (Twisp reseller based in Kempton Park - contact details on the Twisp website). She keeps stock of all the Twisp products including the battery charger and wall adaptor.

I'm guessing all the plugs were pulled because they have to be SABS approved. It was mentioned that customs were stopping plugs. I could be wrong though. By the way Doug did you get the Janty branded leather pouch with a belt clip in your kit?

I must have a true one of a kind collectors item. A twisp branded Janty stick and a Janty branded leather pouch. I guess they picked up on this.

They were probably in the process of rushing the Stick onto the market and just let the branding follow later. A curse on them for dropping the mains charger!
