I think I'd be too frustrated with the hard draw and subpar vapor TB. Wish you had a vid camera to give us an idea of hte vapor amounts you're talking about. Sounds htough like htese will keep right on working ok with refillings which is cool- will be interesting to see how long one goes- If you're using htem on average at abotu a pack a day regular smoking, I think that will give us a really good base to judge by.

also TB- Check the end cap on the battery- is htere a small hole there? It seems the end caps need a small hole to make the draw easier- I tested this out by covering my loongtotem hole in the cap, and I could not get the led to light up and I couldn't get any draw through it, or very little I should say. I then checked my SmartFixx batteries, and htey all had one hole in the end cap on the side, and did hte same hting- it appears this endcap hole is what determines the draw ease- perhaps try just ever so slightly enlarging that hole and see if it makes a difference. (Note, you can also pull the cap right off, but hten I think it gives too much air htrough it)

Also- about my experiment yesterday with hte loong cart and SmartFixx penstyle battery- while it worked, I beleive it burnt out my cartridge prematurely- the cartridge only lasted 9 hours and hten promptly burnt out- perhaps the bigger battery was too much power for the atomizer in the cartridge?

Katy- I'm workign on 5 units myself- yup- it's an addiction for sure

I got one yesterday. I'd say on a scale of 1 to 5, the vapor is about a 3, average at best, and the draw is about a 2, as hard as sucking a thick milkshake through a straw. Good price, but poor performance. What do you expect for $17?

Try the hole in hte end cap see if that makes a difference. There is a thread abotu takign hte end cap right off for better easier draw and more vapor- worth a try.

This afternoon I discovered that this little thing has one of the best designed cartridges I've ever encountered. Check it out:

Twist off the cartridge from the atomizer. Take a paper clip and stick it through the hole in the bottom of the cartridge. Up comes a little plastic piece and the filling. The plastic thing is shaped like a tulip vase and holds a pinch of aquarium polyester filter material.

Pull out that polyester piece. Easy to wash and rewet, or ... to use your own liquid, which is exactly what I've been doing now. I get much better taste and even better vapor with my homebrew stuff. The tulip vase piece is about the neatest arrangement I've ever seen. And it does a pretty good job of keeping liquid out of the mouth (but not completely on occasion).

Some time ago, I bought an entire bag of polyester filter material at a local pet store (find it near the fish aquariums). Dirt cheap stuff and it's used in some commercial cartridges. A tiny pinch of new filter could easily be stuffed into the plastic piece, soaked with fluid, and placed back in the cartridge. I've done this several times now. These cartridges appear to be endlessly resuseable!

Now, the question is how long will the atomizer last?

$17. Are you kidding. I've loving this.

BTW: Heavy use today; battery lasted only half a day.

these little guys are getting listed on ebay at the moment fairly cheaply too but with shipping costs, no-one can match the deal extreme. that's great news about the cartridge TB, i havent heard back from DE about my order yet and now you have me experiencing e-cig anticipatis for the first time. im guessing they were witness to a TB spike.

    Default ordered two myself

Ordered 2 myself then realized I'm going up north Wed. They will be sitting all by themselves on my porch till I get back. Something to look forward to when I come home, cause I'm usually depressed as hell to come back after being on Lake Huron for a few days. E smoking on the deck up there is heaven!!!
