I have the SD, LV, and the GG and they are all excellent, I think. And, the customer service from Trog, Tim (and Imeo), and Ted are just top notch.

Are you sure on this. My SD batteries are protected.

The batteries that Trog ships, and the batteries he recommends, are not the protected type.

The protected batteries are slightly bigger, and he specifically recommends they not be used, as they could put too much pressure on the spring:

Yeah, the ones trog ships aren't, but I bought some that are, they work fine.....
