Default Difference between the DSE 901b and thr RN generic

    Hi guys,

After a few months of puffing on a DSE. I was told by a credible supplier that the way to tell the difference between a DSE 901b and the RNxxxx (don't remember the numbers)

ALL real dse parts should have marking on the on the ends of the battery and the atomizer.

It will have a bunch of numbers but the important thing is that it should and the letters SLB stamped on them.

SLB stand for a manufacturer of the DSE.

I don't know if there are other ways to tell but this is a sure way.

I also don't know if there are other manufacturers for genuine DSE's so if there are others, please comment on this.

I just don't like that many sellers are selling the RN model as a DSE and getting away with it.

Many of my atomizers have died in less than 2 weeks. I just received a shipment of actual DSE items so I will see if it is actually going to last longer.

Already I noticed that the REAL thing screwed on better and is way more responsive. Maybe it is just because it is new, I don't know but I will find out in a few.

Thanks guys for reading and as always,

    Happy Vaping!

Belowme--It is really easy to tell as the SLB stamp is right on the inside of the inner peg of the battery threading on the atomizer. The RN4075's are hotter running atomizers and some like them better--others do not. IMO--the BE901 from BEST is one of the best atomizers I have tried--and that goes for their BE112 which is an 801. ----Sun

How many 901's are there? Is the Ultimate DSE901B on Electronic-ash.com a real 901?

DSE indicates it was manufactured by Sailebao

RN indicates it was manufactured by First Union.

They are just different factories in China and there is no indication that one is somehow better than the other. Peoples experience vary.

I have not received the Ultimate DSE901B yet. Do you have any idea if it is one or the other?

My DSE901 has the SLB on the original atty and battery. The replacement/backup attys that I have are not SLBs. But the new battery that I got today is an SLB. Alot of times they are just kinda hit or miss.

Electronic Ash has true 901 parts. The way to tell the difference between a 901 atomizer and a 4075 is by the bridge inside. The 901s are taller and thinner and the 4075s are lower and fatter. I also have some parts from BEST and they appear to be true parts, but are not stamped with SLB.

well the way I see it, if the DSE and RN is different, then when you sell them you should say which is which.

I just want to point that out.

Why would you call a product something, even though it essential is the same thing, a different name.

    That is false advertisement.

I am just making sure people are aware of their 901's or RN's

I have been smoking an RN for a few months thinking that it was a DSE and that is wrong in my opinion.

also the bridge on the RN and a true DSE atomizer differs but I believe the never ones are almost identical in looks.

I just want to share what I have learned so that others will know how to tell the difference, this way when they but a DSE product, they get a DSE product.

No Offense to anyone, just sharing my knowledge

I hear you Belowme and your point, IMO, is well taken. Many people do not know the differance and Suppliers really should not be calling a RN from First Union a DSE from Sailebao-------Sun
