used with care probably not.. just keep an eye on its and dont leave it on charge plugged in over night..
just know what u are using.. use it wisely.. but do treat it as a potential fire risk.. most of these thing are..
charge outside in a fireproof box.. do this and there is no fire risk.. he he he.. an extreme example.. just use it knowing what u are using..

No. Place the cig and charger on non-flammable(metal, concrete etc.) surface 30x30cm minimum and make sure there is at least 100cm free space on top and 30cm to any walls or other flamable things. With that only power cord starting to burn or smoke coming from it could cause any danger. On top of computer case would do for instance. You just need a extenssion cord to drag the charger where you want it. I have one with power switch which is handy.
@Renner: someone tried to sell one exactly like that here without much luck. Do I need to tell more? This thread is already 13 pages long...
Haha, trog100 got there first.

Thanks guys. Yes I usually charge on top of the PC case because the cables are always so short which is a nuisance. Thanks again for the prompt replies. Trog you are a machine!

This would be funny if it weren't so pathetic. Imagine the comfort a newbie e-smoker has in reading this thread about a device he has been sold with a claim that it presents no fire hazard like a regular cigarette.
"Be sure you charge your battery in a fireproof bank vault because you know how crappy Chinese electronics are ... but go ahead an inhale liquids of unknown content from Chinese manufacturers whose business brethren purposely put deadly melamine in pet food and infant formula just to make a bigger buck ..."
No wonder these devices aren't being sold in REAL STORES.
Add this information to the fire-hazard-during-flight thread that Ned and I contributed to: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...e-smoking.html

this applies to all lithium battery charging bob.. its really got nothing do with cheap chinese products.. lithium techology isnt a safe technology..
blame it all on cheap chinese if u want.. but u would be doing the world a disservice.. lets put the blame where is really lies.. "big business incorporated " and all those "clueless" consumers i sometime mention..
