Personally, the wait is not worth it. You can buy the same exact model without the "blu" logo for the same price and practically same warranty including the PCC. I found a website that had this. I forget what it was. But I read so many people saying the performance sucks, it's varied, and is on the lower spectrum of the vaping experience.
You can buy a Joye 510 w/ PCC for cheaper than the blu off Ruyan Direct for less also and it comes with a 6 month warranty. I'd rather have half the warranty but 5 times greater performance and experience.

Hi, I'm new here and to e cig smoking but I love my Blu! Yes, it took FOREVER to receive, I ordered it on 6/23 and received it yesterday. Could anybody show me a review or two of it? All I seem to find when I google it are reviews so glowing I'm certain that they are fakes put up by the company as part of its marketing scheme. Nonetheless, I love the product, the charging pack is sharp, I've been through a couple of cartridges now and they taste great and have a good amount of vapor... hell, my wife saw it, tried it, and wanted one, too, but they're not taking orders again for two more days! Boo! Either I'm just such a novice at this that I think that something crappy is good(and that's a distinct possibility), or maybe I just got one of the "good ones", indicating a unreliable quality level within the Blu products. Either way, I'm happy, believe it or not, and am enjoying my purchase, and not smoking damn analogues anymore. I've been smoking one and a half to two packs a day for some 14 years now, so I'm anxious to be off of them. I haven't had one since my Blu arrived, and I threw away my ashtrays and lighters and junk, too. So here's hoping!

Here's a thread with a lot of info on Blu. The Good, the bad and the ugly:
Blu Electronic Cigarettes - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat
I wouldn't trust most anything you find on the net, I was searching and find it is mostly advertising

Blu is good, but could be better
Let's face it. Blucig has done a better job of marketing than any other electronic cigarette company. Their web site is outstanding! In the long run this is a good thing for us e-smokers as it increases public awareness and improves the perception of product quality. Blu was how I learned about e-smoking and how I was encouraged to try it. Since I purchased the Blu I have stopped smoking analog cigarettes.
The Blu product has a lot going for it (e.g. the charging pack and the small form factor) but after a while the inconsistent vapor production started to annoy me. As a result of reading other testimonials on this site I tried the 510 (a.k.a. Dura/Titan/Yeti). The 510 consistently produces a lot more vapor. Experimenting with various Dura cartridge flavors (Cappuccino is my favorite so far) I find that I like the taste better than that of the Blu cartridges.
That being said, I really wish Blucig success, and I hope they continue to improve their products.

I consider blu a gateway product, it gets people into vaping and most will switch to the 510 once they get tired of it or read the reviews comparing the 2. I had an order for one after i had recieved my 510 a few months ago, but then ran into all the negative reviews, so i cancelled the order and bought more supplies for the 510. Personally i couldn't be happier, i started with the 510 and its kept me happy ever since it arrived. All the companies i've dealt with in regards to the 510 have been quick and easy to deal with. Theres just no way i'd wait 5-6 weeks for a blu, no matter how good their site looks, but thats me

I have the blu, ordered it a few months bac, in May, I love it but then went to order more cartiges and had to wait 4 weeks , learned how to refill them with juice and now waiting another 3 or 4 weeks for new ones, but until them will fill with my own juice..only thing is seems the juice runs out so quick..It is nicely made product..

It's like the blind leading the blind other than the guy who did the "negatives" part which was "spot on". When you have used 10 or more devices you will realize that the Blu is a POS. When you have a device that goes 7-8 hours on one charge WITH heavy vaping, gives consistent great throat hit every inhale, has batteries that only cost $2, can drip on the atomizer all day and never get liquid in the battery, then you will realize just how truely bad the Blu is.
If you keep vaping you will eventually turn the corner and throw the Blu in a draw and forget you ever bought it.

Almost all reviews I've read say it's just like the real thing, but I would definitely argue that. This seems like more of a way to get off cigs and substitue the nicotine than it seems like an alternative to real smoking. I'm not using e-cigs to quit smoking, i simply bought it as a healthier and cheaper alternative to regular cigarettes.
Positives:
*sleek design
*usb charger and box charger
*about the size of a real cig
*looks like a real cig
*easy to use
*"healthy" way to get nicotine fix
Negatives:
*battery charging system is shoddy. instructions say when blue light "turns off" on box then the battery is charged and the cig is ready for use. well that's great, but the problem is the blue light never really turns off, it blinks sometimes, it goes out for a few min the comes back on sometimes, really unreliable.
*the hits seem wildy varied. first few usually are relatively realistic, but then after that it's toatally hit or miss. Some are so weak you can't even tell if it's working and some are just so so.
*Seems to require a lot of "sucking" to get a hit.
After reading a little bit I took a pin and cleared out some of the foil in my cartridge and that made no real change at all.
Very frustrated to read on here that to make most of the brands work you have to go out of your way to put liquid on the atomizer itself (dripping? I think..). Kind of defeats the simplicity of the whole thing.
Some have said that the atomizer "matures" after use? Anyone who can confirm that?
Thanks for any info you can give since I'm a newbie and somewhat clueless.
The reviews you read (assuming they were not on this forum) were likely from people trying to sell the product. Blu offers 25% commission for direct referrals from anyone, so a lot of people basically become salespeople and don't review it honestly. It's a sham.
The reason the charging case would turn back on is most likely because the Blu has an automatic switch, which can be activated by motion, loud noise (like music in a bar/club) or air movement. So it would get charged, then something would activate it when it's in your pocket, then it would need to charge some more. A major complaint about auto batteries.
You don't need to drip to get the product working properly. Some people prefer it. I don't, but will do it occasionally when trying new flavors of juice or something that I don't want to fill a whole cart with.
The reason you're probably unhappy with the performance is because it's an inferior product. Not the worst, but far from the best. Try something that produces more vapor and throat hit, like a 510 or one of the big battery mods if you can deal with the strange looks from others. I think you'll find a big difference and be much happier. Also get manual batteries (they're available for many popular models now).
Atomizers do get better, but usually for me it only takes a short time. If you've been using it for a while and it hasn't "matured", then it's just a crappy e-cig. Then, atomizers get worse too. It's like a bell curve.

My problem right now is I have too much money wrapped up in it, I was told to try the 510, but I will have to buy the whole kit to get started, I am not that unhappy with the blu, but then you are right I haven't tried another type yet..Thanks for the advice..
