Just got my blu...

Hi, I'm new here and to e cig smoking but I love my Blu! Yes, it took FOREVER to receive, I ordered it on 6/23 and received it yesterday. Could anybody show me a review or two of it? All I seem to find when I google it are reviews so glowing I'm certain that they are fakes put up by the company as part of its marketing scheme. Nonetheless, I love the product, the charging pack is sharp, I've been through a couple of cartridges now and they taste great and have a good amount of vapor... hell, my wife saw it, tried it, and wanted one, too, but they're not taking orders again for two more days! Boo! Either I'm just such a novice at this that I think that something crappy is good(and that's a distinct possibility), or maybe I just got one of the "good ones", indicating a unreliable quality level within the Blu products. Either way, I'm happy, believe it or not, and am enjoying my purchase, and not smoking damn analogues anymore. I've been smoking one and a half to two packs a day for some 14 years now, so I'm anxious to be off of them. I haven't had one since my Blu arrived, and I threw away my ashtrays and lighters and junk, too. So here's hoping!

Whatever works for ya, man. Keep it up! If you have a few extra bucks sometime it wouldn't hurt to pick up another model to try, if only for the availability of replacement parts and cartridges. You might find something you like a lot better. Look at the video reviews on this forum while you're enjoying your Blu and if something looks good to you and isn't too expensive, give it a whirl.

Blu was my first e-cig, got it just before they held up shipping in july. Was ok till I went to charge the battery after the first use, blew up the bat and the usb charger first use. They sent me back a battery after I sent them back the bat and charger. Havent bothered to call them on the charger. Been using the pack charger. I ended up getting a dse-901 about 3 weeks ago and it gives much better vapor. I like the feel of the Blu better thou and still use it in between battery chargers on the 901. I was able to get a little better performance out of my Blu by putting a little teflon tape around the threats of the addy covering both holes then taking a pin to open just one of the holes. Still not as much vapor as the 901 but definetly better than it was before. that and I am using no-nic VG that I have done myself. I mix it 60% VG and 20% Vodka(80 proof) Just thought I would add my 2 cents on the Blu

... I could not be more disappointed. Unless you have a fully charged battery and a fresh cartridge, you get little to no vapor. The charger is flaky (it comes on, it goes out, it comes on, it goes out) and is malfunctioning. I would rather be ripped off in the malls by overpriced e-cigs that work than to have saved money by buying Blu. And to think I waited over a month for it, too! But, I am keeping it just so when people ask me, "Why do you hate your Blu so much?" I can pull it out and SHOW them.

I'd rather go back to smoking analog cigarettes than to have thrown my money away on Blu.

After vaping with the blu for a few days now. I can understand why so many people are frustrated by the device.

The blu is not a bad e-cig. But it has a major design flaw. It works perfectly when the cart is full. The first few puffs with a new cart are really good. Vapor starts fading very quickly.

Checking the cart you realize that 1/2 of the cart is still full. If they fix this.. Blu would be awesome.

I also have this problem with the Dragon 401, but it's not as bad. I have tried using the straw mod and the tea bag mod. But the issue remains, most of the carts waste a lot of juice and the e-cigs work nicely as long as you have a full cart.

blu is just surviving on pure marketing otherwise they suck
