    Default David Yang highly reccomended

    Hi
    my name is Di Kerry
I have been e-smoking for 16 days now.

I have a dse 801 penstyle from David Yang,
    (thanks billyboy,)

    this is soooooooo good,
the battery lasts about 5 - 6 hours of puffing
5 or 6 times about every 15 minutes

one cartridge lasts me all day, 9am - 11 pm.

    and his pricing is excellent,

David Yang is such a gentleman,
I spoke to him by phone,
    he is polite and knowledgable
and just very helpful and obliging.

I have made an order from him for spares for the dse 801, I really like this e-cig.

I will post again when I receive my order, to let you know about shipping time.

    David Yang
    highly reccomended by me.
    dikerry.

don't get me wrong....David seems awesome...Great reviews of him has been constant

Thats y i'm putting so much hope on his e-cigs being the answer to my problems...Don't know if i'm demanding for too much though...

However, you seem to be new at e-smoking and have only done so for 16 days. Have you compared his 801 to any other similar models?

Besides, 16 days is a little too short to really mean anything...All my cheap generics can easily pass the 16 day test of abusive puffing....

Would really like some over a month review on performance and durability...At the meantime, kudos to David for the exceptional quality and service. Looking forward to be your customer soon!

While I completely understand your desire to find "the" end-all product that will last you until the end of times, it simply doesn't exist yet outside of maybe the screwdriver and usb-powered battieres. That being said, when it comes to generic models, David's products are the best of the best as far as what China has to offer and at a very fair price. Replacements of batteries is to be expected and Yang handles such orders with great customer service.

As for cleaning, I haven't run into a single problem with my cleaning method I picked up from Kate (thanks Kate, if I haven't already said so). Just drop the atomizer in a small container of isopropyl alochol overnight and then wash it out with hot water - draining, filling it with water, and shaking it out. I've done this about five or so times on both 901 and 801 atomizers and it has also worked flawlessly. I don't really bother with the draining atomizer method unless it's absolutely necessary - usually storing or travel purposes.

i'm not that much of a noob to not realise that e-cigs don't last forever. Never meant to imply that David's product should last till the end of times. With the given limitations, it would be great to find something that lasts longer than average at a reasonable price. David has satisfied the price criteria and initial performance but durability has yet to be confirmed. This is the review section after all and i'm just asking for one. Of course, your voluntary effort to provide us a review gets my total admiration and respect.

To say that something is the best of the best requires some heavy backing up. And to say as far as china is concerned practically means every e-cig in the world. I would love to believe that it is true though as many others would.

Replacement of batteries are obviously expected but even with great customer service, I would have to fork out money for shipping and to do that less often would be most desirable...

All I can say is that I have had no problem with David's products for the three or so weeks I've used them. Plain and simple. Even countries outside of China that are making these things still have quality control issues and none of them last any longer than the generics. I'll try my best to keep you updated, but from what I've experienced, I don't see any major problems in the near future outside of a dead battery in three months time, which is very very generous for any lithium battery. I can say that his batteries have lasted longer than I expected, and that's all I can say at the moment. And from what he's been telling me, they improved the battery life recently. As for your concerns of having to order replacements, I am told that he is getting some American distributors to deal with selling his products in the states, so that won't be an issue at all in the coming weeks.

i am not and am unable to argue with your review, doc...I don't own one of it....at least not yet...

i am much more interested in the review and will not dwell on past posts anymore...

You mentioned that your foresee the batteries to last 3 months...Thats a record for me!! If it can last 3 months and one battery can last till the other one is fully charged, i am sold!!! If the atomiser can do the same thing, I'll buy in bulk!! LOL.....

Great to hear about the US distributors....but i'm in indonesia and cambodia most of the time....Not an issue at all though if the stuff really performs...

Will hear more from you, doc....keeping heads high!

If you are in those countries, then perhaps it would be easier to buy from him then? I'm not familiar with how postage works there.

I'll try my best to keep you posted.

ive been using a david yang supplied 901 set for the last 6 weeks
at work this is constantly in use and dropped on to a concrete floor more times than it should , no troubles with atomizers or batts yet

to keep it fair ive also got an 801 set from cashmere which is constantly in use at home and with over 6 weeks use of that , no probs with either battery or atomizers , also has been dropped a number of times

ive just started using davids 801 penstyle set as well for 2 weeks so far
all these ecigs are making beautiful big clouds of vapour

and yes they all get a good thrashing , ive ordered a litre bottle of eliquid just for me !

i read most of the posts on this board and wonder why i havent had a failure of any parts , just luck ?
im usually good at breaking things

to this end and inspired by troggs beasty screwdriver
ive been busy at work making my own , 1.2 mm thick high tensile stainless steel outer casing should take a few knocks

any pen style battery will outlast any mini style battery.. the pen style cells are %50 bigger which dosnt sound a lot but from a battery wear out point of view it is a lot..

at a rough guess i would give a penstyle three times the lifespan of a mini style.. its mini style e cigs which have the major battery problem..

the screwdriver relatively speaking is overkill.. replacement battery costs will be near zero.. they should last for many months..

its big for a reason.. it is simply a battery size issue.. new technology wont help with this one.. at least not in the near future..

as long as people want e cigs to look like real cigs.. short life batteries will be the order of the day.. fact..

I just wanted to update everyone on my penstyle, along with a recent kit I got.

The original penstyle I recieved is still working great. I only drip when using it, and it works like a charm. No drop in vapour, batteries still work and hold a charge.

Now, I also received a batch of Yang's updated products - a new kit consisting his new batteries and atomizers. The new batteries last WAAAY longer than I expected, around 8 or so hours but that is a guess. I'll try and clock the next one I use to make sure. As for the atomizer, the draw is super easy (easier than the original atomizer, which is saying a lot) and the vapor production is even better and far more consistent. This is probably the best atomizer I've used to date. I'm really impressed overall. The only physical difference I can see is that the battery is about a cm or two longer than the original batteries, but it is barely noticeable when screwed into the atomizer. The materials seem to be far better as well and feels like a quality product. In the end, I definitely recommend this improved 801 penstyle to those that are still in the market for one. You won't be disappointed.
