The VP1 - Bitchin

Update:

I received my VP1 yesterday from Vaprlife.com, and it is nothing short of amazing. Wow.

If someone had told me that I could've simply shelled out $100 2 months ago and bypassed all of the nonsense I went through with my first device (a VX2 or J118 - similar to a 901), I would have done it in a heartbeat. This VP1 is definitely the solution I was looking for.

I seem to be getting about 4-5 hours from a single battery, which is about 3 times better than with my VX2. I get massive clouds of vapor consistently with little or no effort. My liquid tastes clean and potent, instead of rancid and stale. Add to that the killer appearance and slim form factor of the VP1 compared to other battery mods, and I'm absolutely certain that I made the right choice. I'm in love.

Just wanted to share my early experiences here. Highly recommended.

I also got mine a couple of days ago and I must say it is great!! I just really like the feel of it. Slim and has a nice weight to it. Lots of vapor! It works great! Bought it on impulse and really glad I did!

I too was initially looking for either a 510 or a 901 version, but after talking to John at Vaprlife and looking around at other user's experiences with 'battery upgrade' mods, I quickly changed my mind about the 801.

The 801 on its own is not my cup of tea at all, but its atomizer has certain properties that make it an ideal candidate for a device with a better power source, like a VP1. The larger surface area of the 801 atty can handle increased / stabilized power better, and puts out serious vapor. Using a smaller atomizer like a 510 kind of cramps the performance, and can also lead to fried attys.

Anyway, I just wanted to share the results of my research and my own experience here, as I too was leaning towards looking for a 510 model as well initially. I must say though - I'm seriously pleased with the 801 on the VP1.

I've tried 801's on mods ( I have 2 so far) and they are all right, I just lean toward 510 not to mention I have 30+ 510 atty's compared to 3 801's, 5 901's lol
The 801 is a good atty, fantastic especially at 5v and 6v but as you said, not my cup of tea. Something about the draw and just as a whole I can't put my finger on.
I so far haven't lost a 510 atty, ( 901's are a different story bleh)

This is my first post to this forum. I smoked for 39 years, and chewed nicorette gum where I couldn't smoke. I learned about the e-cigarette via the internet, ordered one, and since my first charged battery have not smoked an analog since. That wasn't long ago, June 6th, but quite an incredible feat for me! I haven't even had any desire for a cigarette since.

I have the 801 penstyle, Titan 510, Janty Dura-C, and Janty Stick. Though all the above have met my needs, I ordered the VP2 on Sat. and was vaping with it on Tuesday. It came fully charged and ready to go. I LOVE it! The battery life is outstanding and I don't have to fear leaving the house with just this one unit with me. The draw is consistent and it produces tons of vapor. I prefer the 801 carts and atomizer so this is the best of all for me. Having cheap, long lasting ( very long) , short charging time batteries makes this a superior unit. I don't know what more I could ask for......

VP2 is awesome!

Protected battery too. On a weekday, when I'm not constantly vaping during working hours :-) the battery lasts a full 24 hours for me! -- well, I am sleeping for about 7 of them (haven't figured out how to vape in my sleep yet!), but you get the idea.

Vapor slightly better than the Janty Stick, which I though couldn't be beat.

I think I've finally found my PV and can stop experimenting. Next stop for me, cart mod ....

seriously people are actually buying this . I don't mean to sound off but it's a $4 laser pointer. still , If you like it why not , but i would urge anyone before spending what $75 on the VP-1 to have a go at makin it yourself..it really is easy.
