I'm glad it's easy for you -- looks scary to me! I'd glady pay for someone else to do it right!

I don't blame people for selling Mods , what i do find saddening is a company charging a fortune for the product.
If people wanna spend that much on it ..that's fine..I'm just saying for those that can , there is another option to get the same PV at a fraction of the cost.
( and honestly it looks harder to make than it really is )

I have a VP1 on order and cannot wait to get it. Unfortunately, it is backordered and I hate ordering something I have to wait a couple of weeks to get. However, I kept looking at the VP1 and have to say that I love how it looks, the lights, etc. I have a Stick replacement coming very soon also. WOW. I wanted the VP1 instead of the VP2 because it looks more like a cigarette, and sorry to all of you purists out there, I still want the similar look and feel of the real thing. The Stick is for at home for me. I am getting more excited now to get it since reading these reviews.

The description for the VP1 set on Vaprlife.com now states that it uses a PROTECTED battery. Is this true?

It was the single reason I was on the fence about the VP1, and the VP2 is just a little too large for my taste.

    RooksGambit,

The updated VP1 description mentions protected batteries because that is what the new units will have. So, once they're are back in stock, they will have protected batts. At least that was my understanding.

    Sweet!

Thanks for the confirmation, Synth! Next little bit of scratch I get, I'm gonna drop that schnit on a VP1 and a couple extra batts, WoO!

I am also a V1 fan. Yes I know its a laser mod..Don't care, its well worth it to me to have someone else do it for me, plus add in the lights..which, sue me, I like! I also noticed that it vapes a cart dry with consistency all the way. I have the 901 and I am about to order the new 801 since I like both of those at different times. Battery with "chain vaping" lasts 4 to 5 hours. Its my all day every day PV.

These look very nice and small.
I was just on the site yesterday and they do have 510 versions.

This was listed in the product description for the 510 VP1...

Adapter for 901 or 510 atomizers available in accessories. If you want your 901 or 510 adapters to work with the air flow system, a hole must be drilled through the side of the adapter.

what do they mean by that? do you have to drill a hole in the thing to use a 510 atty?

No, not at all. Their wording tends to be a bit unclear at times.

If you order an VP1-501, it will come with the 501 adapter included. The 'air flow system' allows you to adjust the airflow, but this feature only works with the M201 style atomizers.

In short, the VP1-501 works perfectly with a 501 atty. You just can't adjust the airflow without performing 'surgery' on the adapter, which you probably wouldn't need to do anyway, in all truth.
