    Default Vapor King VS Nebula

I realize that the Vapor King and the Nebula are basically the same e-cig, but is there something that makes one better than the other? I already have 901's and 510's, but I'm thinking about getting one of these for work so I won't have to top off all the time. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

not basically... are , both KR808D-1. They might use different juice in their cartomizers, but i don't know for sure. After you have some KR batteries you can buy cartomizers from anyone you want. Drew at Nhaler has some tasty flavors. as does cigeasy.com

So, how is the throat hit and vapor compared to a 901 or a 510?

the throat hit from a KR is top notch , on every cart i have ever tried no matter the nic content. the vapor is good , not really visibly more or less than a 901 or 510 ... to me anyway

I'll second that. The vapor is a little denser from the 510, but the light draw on the KR lets you take more in at once. I have a VK and Nebula both circa April. They are indistinguishable performance-wise to me.

    Hi all,

First post, first day with an e-cig, first ligament chance I feel I've ever had to stop smoking...

Props to Grimm Green, it was his review of the Nebula that hit all the right notes for me to get into the juice game...

My Nebula from Ben at vapornine arrived this morning...

I can confirm that the KR808D-1 delivers an impressive throat hit.

I'm a bit dizzy, but smiling and as of yet have nothing else to add, other than Ben returned my e-mail and the shipping was super fast.

    I'm pretty happy
    Best Regards

I've got both - they're the same model. Drew at Nhaler.com has some great deals on starter kits - much less than the Nebula and a bigger selection. His spare batteries and cartomizers are much less also.

Coupon code saveinnj gives you another 10% off.

For me, the kr808 gives about the same vapor as my 901, better throat hit, and MUCH better flavor.

You do still need to top these off occasionally to extend their life, but adding a few drops in the battery end is MUCH easier than fooling around with a 3 piece.

If you wanna skip dripping altogether at work, you can just bring a couple fresh carts, a spare battery, and you're good for the day

I have the Vapor King. In it's onset, yes, it was pretty much the KR808. However since then, improvements have been made to the vapor king in pretty much all categories, vapor, throat hit, flavor etc. As it stands today, the vapor king and KR808 models do have compatible parts (use the carts with battery and vice -versa) however, they are really not the same anymore. In my previous KR808 models, I've noticed that the carts burn very fast. When you take them apart, there is nothing but burnt filler inside. With the vapor king carts, you can now go up to 2-3 refillls before they start to burn off and need to be disposed of. The batteries also have 4 holes as opposed to 2.

I have had many different models and juices since I started vaping back in October. My Vapor King is my primary e-cig. All my others are just sitting in boxes as back-ups.

Are you sure that all of the kr808 models haven't been updated to the 4 hole style? I'm pretty sure there's only one manufacturer of this model and it would make sense that all resellers are going to end up selling a newer style once their old stock is depleted.

I can only speak for one kr808 model which I used to own until I got so fed up with it and it's customer service that I took it to the gun range and shot 50 rounds of 9mm ammo through it (Epuffer's Eaze Magnum). That unit had 2 holes and the carts tasted like burnt paper fresh from the factory. The other model known as the dpv9 had 4 holes, however I have had head to head comparisons with the dpv9 and the vaporking and the vapor king beats it with regards to battery life (ALL my dpv9 batteries died after 2 months of heavy use while my original vaporking batteries are now about 4 months old and still going strong) and flavor (Menthol).

Vapor King's reseller - Steve - has made customer service and quality control his top priority. I have not heard of any resellers going personally to China to inspect how their products are being manufactured and/or making sure that the resellers personal specs on the product are being adhered to. He states that he has and still does from time to time. As far as I'm concerned, he has not given me any reason not to believe him because the vapor king pretty much speaks for itself

I am very happy with the VK and it's customer service and so are many other customers.
