    Default Intellicig EVOlution

I got my EVOlution through yesterday and took it with me to the pub in the evening, so here's my review of it so far.

It looks like a cigarette. Plain and simple. It comes in a natty cigarette type carton as you can see with charger, cartridges and spare battery (provided you order a starter kit with two batteries).

The atomiser (or vapouriser as they call it ) has a high bridge on it so it connects with the liquid at the bottom of the cartridge. The cartridge is unusual. It has what looks like a piece of gauze in the bottom on top of the liquid that I assume the liquid passes through. It must do as it smokes well.

The draw on the EVO is very cigarette like. I find that a primer puff isn't required, just a normal cigarette like draw gets plenty of vapour.

Intellicig claim that the cartridge will last about the equivalent of 5-7 cigarettes and I found that to be true. Taking 15 puffs as a cigarette equivalent I found I was getting 5-6 cigs worth out of one cartridge.

Testing out this morning I've found that the cartridges ARE refillable. Just drop two to three drops of your favourite e-liquid in the mouth of the cartridge and let it soak in, then smoke away and it works great.

One battery lasted me all evening in the pub which is great, suggesting the battery life is very good.

All in all I'm very impressed with it initially. I'll see how it performs over time, but it has got a month's warranty on the parts and replacement atomisers and batteries aren't too expensive. £7.99 each.

Nice succinct review, BadSeed - Thanks

Everything I needed to know about it, basically. I'm trying to hold out for the black one when it comes out, but I may be weakening after such a positive review!

Am I right in thinking you got the blue tip one? Funnily enough looking too much like a cigarette is what put me off, part of the reason I got a 901b instead...which doesn't smoke ANYTHING like a cigarette does!

Will you update to let us know how it continues to perform?

Yep I got both batteries with blue LEDs. It's obviously not a cigarette when you puff on it. It does look like one otherwise though.

I'll post an update next weekend on how it's going.

Looking forward to your next review Badseed, just bought 2 starter packs as seems to be a good price. Your review helped, particularly with the go ahead with topping up.

The EVO's going great so far. I'm still using my 901 at work, but I was vaping the EVO all over the weekend and this evening. The battery life is excellent.

I did get a faulty mains charger with mine. It charges the batteries fine, but there's a dodgy connection to the LED by the looks of it as it's not working. They're sending me through a replacement though no problem.

Great to know; not so bad getting a faulty part when there's no problem getting a replacement, got to say I can't wait to see what battery life I get out of it.

This 'hobby' can get awful expensive can't it? I've now got 2 901's, 4 super minis, 1 pen style and 2 evo's on the way and still waiting for Janty's Christmas offering!

It does get a bit pricey.

That's all right though. All the money you would've been spending on cigs can go on this instead.

True that, Badseed; only problem is that I've still got 1200 duty paid from Greece and I just can't seem to part from them .

Never mind, if they last me another 6 months instead of 6 weeks, money well spent.

I think the pricey part comes with trying to get the product that suits you best. I have a M401 now from litecigusa and love it. now its just a matter of parts and juice which is not too bad over time.

Just got my EVO today and it is as some of us suspected, a M401 in a different colour. This is very good news as the M401 is the only supermini in my experience that's worth to money. Vapes just like my Litecig.
