    Default David Yang's USB Penstyle

I know a few of you out there are anxiously awaiting this wonderful product. It seems I was the first to get it, so I feel obliged to post a few photos and a bit of a review.

I've only previously owned one e-cigarette. A super mini from egar, hardly even worth mentioning other than for the fact that I don't really have much to compare my new toy to.

So I've been using this 801 pen style for a few days now. Mostly with the USB connection. I'm very impressed with the smooth draw, though it takes a little more work than the super mini, the vapour production of the 801 puts it to shame. This is aided greatly by the manual switch. But even on battery power with the vacuum switch, it outperforms the super mini. I've also noticed that the flavour of the e-liquid seems stronger.

I've been primarily dripping, but last night I used a high strength marlboro cart while I was out on the town. Not as much vapour from the cart, but it really hit the spot after just a few drags, and there's still plenty of juice left in it (I normally drip with 14mg juice). The battery lasted me the whole night (about 7 hours), taking just a few puffs every half hour or so, then vaping more heavily on the way home, and a couple of smokes' worth this morning. It conveniently died out as soon as I got in to work where I can use the usb again

I will be buying a standard 801 battery soon, as I think it will last longer.

The only problems I've found is that the manual switch only seems to work on the usb battery, and the vacuum switch only on the rechargable battery. I'm not sure if this is the intended design; it's no major set back for me.

i don't think Janty will take to kindly to their kissbox classic patents being ripped off tho.

not sure if as a customer whether that's a problem..I've been buying pen RN4072 generics from a favorite supplier that are same as Njoy's..so if these USB pens from David's with manual switch are like Janty's ..don't see why that's a no-no..it's about everythig getting more & more competitive..which might be to our advantage as customers...

But Njoy doesn't have a patent -- they simply buy in bulk from China and rebrand the same old generic penstyle many other suppliers sell, and charge more money!

Exactly. This thing is a helluva lot cheaper than the kissbox. It may not have as many nifty features (like the retractable USB cable), but it does the job well. It's definitely a good thing for the customer. I'm not sure if Janty's gear is compatible with anything else, but this one uses a standard 801 atomiser, so parts are easily interchangeable.

The most Janty could do (if they do indeed have a patent) is commence legal proceedings, which would be pretty hard work, especially going up against a manufacturer in China. The least they could do is drop their prices

so is forever the manual switch to be Janty's? I know little & have no access about the details of the patent itself..so just wondering from consumer/business point of view ..and that it is great that prices become more advantageous for us..as customers ..

Hey Misty, I wasn't really intending to take a side either way on the Janty vs. Wayne issue; in fact as just a consumer myself I also really appreciate the availability of lower prices.

I was just reacting to your mention of Njoy as if they were somehow wronged by the generic penstyle being available at lower prices, when they and other companies who simply buy cheap but charge high prices because they can really irk me!
