So...should I order a m201? I've been researching them here on the forum for a couple of weeks and was all but sold - but now, I'm not so sure. Sounds like they had a bullet proof ecig and then messed it up by changing the atty style, hmmm. This penstyle sounds like exactly what I'm am looking for, but no way do i want to have to replace attys every 2 weeks.

Any updates on what Smoore did or didn't do?

I have not ordered any new M201 atty as I still have a lot of them. Atty life can range from weeks to months, depending on individual usage and abuse. No atty lasts forever and the M201 is no exception.

If anyone asks me, i will say to go ahead with an M201 as its a great penstyle. I am glad that after more than a year, this thread is giving the M201 the recognition it deserves and more retailers are carrying them now.

It used to be only absolutelyecigs and no one else.

I had problems with recent m201 attys that I purchased from litecig.....I thought it was due to them changing from a 4 hole model to a no hole model. Actually the problem was due to the DIY liquid that I was using. When I went back to Dekang liquid I have had no problems with the newer m201 attys. They are just as good as the old attys. The m201 is the best vaping device out there bar none.

M401/2/3 all use the same atomizer, just 3 different lengths of battery. absolutelyecigs lists the lengths(in mm) on their site if you want specific dimensions. If I'm not mistaken, 401 - longest, 402 - shorter, 403 - shortest.

If you like your m402, I'd suggest getting the PCC(Personal Charging Case) from their website. With a PCC, you can charge the CASE, then use it to charge/store your batteries from your pocket or on the go. In my PCC, I have one battery charging, another battery stored next to it, a couple of extra atomizers, and a few just-in-case cartridges. Their PCC has a sleek matte black coating, with a nice rubberized feel; it charges either with a wall socket or USB, has a red/green LED to show when the e-cig battery is charged, and a blue LCD display to show the remaining battery life of the PCC itself.

Attached is a picture of my PCC. Sorry for the poor quality, it's from my cell phone camera. The only downside is that I own all three sizes of battery, m401, m402, and m403, and the m401(longest) is slightly too long for the PCC which prevents it from closing completely, but they all still will charge. The 402 and 403 batteries fit just fine and it charges from my shirt pocket while at school/work!

    Here's the one I got,
    *NEW* M402 SMART PCC (COMPATIBLE with M401/3) - Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cigarettes | E-Cigs from Smoore

and they also have one exclusively for the 401 battery, if you have the long one.

oh, and when it comes to atty's for the M4 series, I've still got my original two atty's from a year ago that still work fine!! (i also have about a dozen other atty's sitting around because every time I buy juice, I decide to get another atty just in case...) I blow out/drain/blot my attyz from time to time, but never do any cola washes or anything too time consuming. I think every atty I have was from puresmoker, and amazing quality. They still offer M4-series atomizers(i think), even though they don't sell any mini e-cig models anymore.

I have had no problem with the new 201 attys, I use the regular pg based juice from litecig. The new ones have a slightly easier draw, a plus to some, but I prefer a stiffer draw, but still one of the best out there imo.

Wow, you guys are great! A special thank you to Fedor & EDO for the info & experienced opinions. Here's my dilemma: I have chosen the Mseries from Absolutely cigs as my foray into vaping based on the great info here mostly. If I am to stand a chance getting off analogs, I need the best combination of reliability, portability, & hit/vapor.

I can only choose one at this time. I would definitely go with the M201 as first choice, but I'm afraid it might not be as feasible out & about (thoughts on that?). So maybe the M401/2/3 series with manual batt, pcc, & such. The M602 might be a good starter for my conditions, but seems a little shaky still in reliabilty, ease of use, and atty life.

I'm a heavy 25 year smoker and know I'm gonna want a good solid hit to stand a chance against analogs, so between the three what do I do?

I plan to take opportunity of the mega-package deals at AbsolutelyE so I have extra batts & attys...so I don't end up without a vape at some point.

I stayed up pretty much all night trying to understand all the new terms, issues, and jargon (thanks DonDaBoomVape) and I'm a little better off in my understanding i.e. penstyles vs mini vs mods, auto & manual batts etc., but still fairly confused.

I won't hold anyone accountable for my choice lol, I just need some advice from the folk on this thread in particular who are using these products.

Again thank you guys for all the info & any suggestions you might have for me.

In my opinion, I'd go with the M201. More throat hit and vapor than the M40x and longer lasting cartridges. Auto batteries are the only option available for the M201 and no PCC option. Both M201 and M40x have USB pass-throughs available for when you're near a computer.

Basically it comes down to which you prefer -- more throat hit and vapor, along with longer lasting cartridges, at a larger (pen style) size, or a bit less throat hit and vapor, but PCC , manual battery option (M401) with smaller size.

I can't speak for the m201, but I really like the m40x series. The vapor is good and the throat hit is good, but I've found that certain juices produce more or less of each. I find the m40x satisfactory at both. The M40x standard carts don't hold much, but you can find XL carts which hold a few more drops. Of course you get more vapor and a stronger throat hit by dip/drip.
