My thoughs on the KR808D-1

I have tons of 510 stuff and think it is great. However, as so many others have said before me, taking a 510 out and spending time dripping, filling, and changing batteries is not my idea of enjoyable. The VKlgd+(kr808) beats the 510 a hundred times over for public use IMO

I would have to agree with some... I just recently became a serious 510 fan since I personally think dripping is easier on a 510 than an 801 and 510 vape is crazy

I use all of the atty models I own, but the cartos are definately my choice of out-o-house vapin
edit: the changing batteries part sucks IMO for any ecig batt.... thats why I choose to use my atties and cartos on my PVs because 900mah and above is the way to go long

I find the KR808 carts last me most of a day when I'm out and about, however I do swap between usually 2 flavors. When I first started on the 808 I did vape exclusively on 1 cart for most of a day (6-7 hours) with good vapor production and taste. But I get bored with just one flavor. You can also drip on the battery end if you really need to.

Driving is one of the main reason's I got mine, dripping and driving is just not smart.

I go through 1.5 to 2 carts a day. I smoked a pack of camels/winston reds a day before vaping, if that helps. 2 batts and a couple of cartridges should get you through a long drive easily.

I just received a vapor king KR808D-1 and I'm not getting a lot of throat hit off it(using 18mg black tea juice)but it is producing lots of vapor.

I am a noob. I tried both the KR808D-1 cartomizers and the 510 attys and carts.

Yes, I get less vapor with the KR808D-1, but it's soooooooooooooooooooooooo much less hassle. I like it a lot more. 1 cartomizer has lasted 2 days so far and still going. I guess I vape less than you folks.

I started with the 901, and I really liked it as far as flavor and throat hit goes, plus the vapor was okay. But I just got really frustrated with all the dropping, dripping, filling, plus the cartridge was just so tiny. I was starting to feel like I had a 2nd job with all the fussing around with the thing. But it did get me off analogs, and for that I am thankful.

I switched to the 808D-1, and I just love it. All I have to do is pop on a cartomizer. You can refill them if you want, but I just throw my empties into a coffee can (just in case these things ever do get banned). I get lots of vapor, so I can't relate to the other posters here. Maybe it's because I use mostly 24, sometimes 36mg? I know the throat hit is huge, and I love it (others might call it harsh). And the flavors are still excellent, even at the 24mg level.

If I were to switch models again, it would only be to a battery mod that can use cartomizers. I would love to get a longer-lasting battery, but the extra long one I have is usually good for about 4 or 5 hours, so that's better than the regular manual ones. But I'd sure love to have one that lasted all day without it looking like I have a flashlight hanging out of my mouth (not very ladylike, you know).

I vape pretty heavily at times, but 1 carto usually lasts me all day at my computer. But at night I tend to chain-vape, so I put a 2nd one on. Overall, I am extremely happy with this model.

I am not a KR808D fan, for I have never tried one. But, I can chime in some information here due to my research/experimentation on direct polyfill to coil saturation and such in 510's. The more juice which is actually delivered to the coil upon activation, the LESS vapor will most likely be produced. Although, you will be actually receiving MORE flavor and nicotine. The more the coil is saturated, which happens in the KR, the cooler it runs. You are basically fluid cooling the coil, the more fluid, the cooler it runs, the less vapor produced. The vapor which is produced contains a higher content of the chemicals which we want (flavor and nicotine). Basically, it all rides in user preference. If you want more vapor, and thus vape more for the same amount of nicotine, steer clear of the KR. If you want more delivery of nicotine and flavor with less hits and less vapor, the KR may be a good option for you. I have altered 510's which some produce large vapor, and less delivery of nicotine. My favorite deliver little vapor but make your head spin in a few hits.
You can double check this by carefully monitoring your fluid consumption and hits per refill. The better the delivery to the coil, the more fluid you will consume. None of the fluid, nor its contents, gets wasted, you are just utilizing it at a more efficient rate.

I respectfully disagree with you. I started with a kr-808 and was able to quit analogs altogether. I get TONS of vapor on mine. It is definitely better with the newer batts, both auto and manual. Since you have never tried one, I don't think it is fair to say to steer clear if you want more vapor.
I also have a 510, which I use to drip, (got tired of messing with polyfill) and unless the atomizer is like new, my vapor production falls of dramatically. That doesn't happen with the kr-808 until it needs refilled.
Bottom line, though, whatever works for you. Being off of analogs is what is most important!!
