I'm really liking them! Throat hit is slightly more intense as is the flavor/vapor(using PG at that. It's a real fog machine w/ VG). I took slightly longer 'drags' than w/ my autos but found the life to be comparable so far. (They do burn through more juice but that correlates to longer drags).
Although my autos have been great out and about, I've been using them at home and taking the manuals out. I'll be taking them to a gig tonight and report back any future thoughts...

Many folks use autos and like them. Different brands though, behave differently and use various technologies to trigger them. I have both and use both. Many of the oft recommended PV's though, are for those who view it as a 'hobby' also. You should be looking into the 2 piece units. Although more expensive to buy and operate they are pretty much a plug and play device. No mechanical skills needed, no atomizer cleaning/boiling, cart filler changes, cart mods etc. Snarkyone a member here is a real cheerleader for GreenCigs. There is also the less expensive KR808D-1 which seems very popular.

While i wait for the M40x PCC to reach me, would just like to note that the M602 is still kicking *ss. Everything is still as per the review i wrote. Its beginning to grow on me a little. Now i am starting to pray for USB PT and PCC for this model.
Anyone else joined the club yet?

After reading your review, I decided to jump in and ordered a 602 and some atomizers and a spare battery. Waiting for it to arrive now. It will be my third PV: first was a greensmoke cartomizer kit, second was a 510 kit. I only kept the 510 kit, but I think that the 602 may work out a bit better for when I'm out and about and don't really have the ability to fiddle with the 510 to get it to perform optimally. Also, it looks like the 602 will be easier to drip in as the atomizer is not hidden deep within a well like the 510 is.
I'll post my experiences once my stuff arrives. I do have to say that a PCC is critically important. Without the PCC for my 510, I doubt vaping would be convenient enough for me to stick with it. If I had to carry enough charged batteries around to make sure I didn't run out, I'd likely just go back to analogs. Yes, I have issues. I'm not prone to panic attacks for any other reason, but if I had less than one unopened pack of analogs in my pocket *in addition to* the open pack I was working on, that meant it was time to get to the store. Seriously. The PCC (and 2 x 3ml bottles of fluid in an "altoids smalls" case) in my pocket make vaping a viable alternative.
Depending on what I think of the 602, I may also pick up a 401/402 kit. We'll see...

Fedor in his praise seems to gloss over the cart design on the 401. They are a pain to refill. Incredibly tiny it is a 2 step process to refill and a tool is needed to actually push the juice cup out of the mouthpiece. For reference the opening is about the same size as a juice bottle's tip, exactly the same diameter as a falling drop. You need good aim.
As far as the manual performing like the PT this has not been true in my case. The M401 auto batts come off the charger at about 2.9V the Smoore manual batt I own, at slightly more at 3, maybe 3.05V (i need a new meter). The slight voltage edge is noticeable in the vape. But no way does my manual batt compare to the official M401 PT (an amazingly chintzy device) that runs at 3.4V off my computer. The PT does work well though, the draw is especially easy. It appears to have a cut-off of about 7 seconds. Also note with the 401's even without dripping fluids accumulate at the battery junction. Clean that hole (autos, manual, PT all have it) often.
If I was going the 401 route again again I'd go with Eastmall's EM4. Many members have suggested it is superior, describing vapor production in very glowing terms. They also have much better pricing than absolutelyecig. Their EM401 kit come with 2 atomizers.
EM4 Manual Starter Kit - Black - EM4 (M40X) - Manual - Eastmall International Co.,Ltd
I also find this to be of interest:
Liquid content for each capsule: 0.5ml (11-12 drops)
Capacity of battery: 280mAh
Normal working voltage: 3.3V-4.2V
Full battery can last for: 250-300 puffs
Long (0.5ml) Cartridges

Our experiences have been very different. While i enjoyed a whole lot out of the models i purchased, it does not seem like you do. I don't have a problem with refilling the carts. I would rather that the carts are this size than to refill a huge cart that only gets half of its capacity vaped. There are those who likes this and there are those who don't. Fair enough. Its all over the forums.
I don't have a meter. I only review these based on usage. I still stand by my review. Your items does not seem to be from the same place i purchased mine. Firstly, my manual batts are great. Secondly, my PTs does not seem to have any cut off at all.
There are already reviews on the EM401 (nothing caught my eye yet) but the original Smoore ones are serving me very well and i have no intentions on switching at the moment. EM claims that they get it from Smoore anyway. Looking forward to your reviews when you get yours.

The "inner cup" carts on the 602 do burn up a little faster than I anticipated but, they do hold 11-12 drops as advertised. but, the ptb nylon material doesn't give up all its juice but the rest of the cart does dry out. I also bought a disposible 510 and the prefilled cart that came with it has been on there 2 days without running dry...unfortunatly the prefilled cart is nasty as hell.

I don't know what post you were reading as nowhere did I mention any model likes or dislikes. Nor did I say I didn't like the manual batt.
That you "don't have a problem with refilling the carts" is irrelevant to my comments that actually explained cart construction and refilling, while trying to give folks a sense of the diminutive size and what to expect. People used to pulling off a mouthpiece and quickly topping off the already exposed filler (without the need for pinpoint accuracy), might be a bit surprised and dismayed.
My stuff is all Smoore and I'm using the 'official' M401 PT, the one Absolutelyecigs sells for $15.99, LitecigUSA at $12.95 and HeavensGifts for $10.
Look familiar?

In closing I wasn't doing a review. I was simply adding a few relevant details that you failed to provide, but should have if you were really interested in doing a fair and honest piece.

WillyB, no need to pour on me like that. Everything's cool and still is. I respect everything you said. You are not the first person who feels this way about M40x carts. Like i said, its all over the forums.
This is a review on the M401/2 manual batts and M602 kit. Why would i add details about the M401 carts?
My review did mention the size differences between M40x and M602 carts but is as a reference. I understand that i may be at fault here for not explaining that the inside of the M602 carts are exactly the same as the M40x and the M602 is just bigger. I only said they were bigger and if thats not being honest, i apologise.
I did my best to make this review. I may not be as good as the other pros on the forums but i guess i can only get better. Wish me luck!

I tried the case charger ... tried carrying around extra batteries .. I had the same panic attacks as you .. without 1.5 packs of kools in my possession I was nervous .. 40 years of 2 packs a day and I finally put them down for good in April when I got my first JantyStick .. The battery goes for a long time and in an emergency you can plug it into your computer or cigarette lighter etc .. The 801 vape seemed different than the 801 vapes on Pen Style e-cigs .. I now own 3 JantySticks .. One for home, one in my car/office and one in my purse for emergencies .. I also have owned most all other mods .. pretty shiny ones .. but I give RELIABILITY CREDIT to the JantyStick .. second place to the ScrewDriver.
