pete, do you still get a full battery life if you take it off charge as soon as the led stays on?
i should just try it for myself and see, but i only have the one battery and need it to last me the full day!
This is the strange thing. I actually charge them from a NiMH battery pack, so I have independence from a computer or mains. The first time they charge, I get a light 20-30 minutes. The battery then seems to run the full time. As I tend to flatten the batteries, this does not make sense. As I've said I've measured the current and the highest I've seen is 180mA. Charging for this rate cannot put a full charge in to the batteries, so I'm baffled
I'm using a good quality meter to do this (Fluke) cannot understand.
And I do know what I'm talking about when it comes to electricity in case people out there think I'm mad.

You'd be fine with a 1000mA version, as you say the battery draws what it needs.

I have 2 batterys and notice same light comes on within 15-20 mins (usb) i do exactly same leave on for 2hrs + just doesn`t seem possible to be charged so quick? I got this
Mains (240v) Switch-Mode USB Power Adaptor Plug on eBay, also, Power Plug Adaptors, Accessories, Consumer Electronics (end time 09-Jan-09 18:41:16 GMT)
then don`t have to rely on computer being on! also useful for charging other things!

I stuff mine into the *cough* overpriced Apple(r)Ipod(tm) USB wall charger and all seems to go to plan apart from the fact that its charging from a stupid Crapple product!

Had mine a couple of days now, overall I'm very pleased, apart from a couple of niggles. I don't appear to have a charge light come on with either battery, even when left in over night. I do have it plugged into a cheap usb hub, don't know if that the problem, I'll try charging straight from the usb socket next time. Also the cut out is a bit too often for my liking, if I have two good draws, it tends to stop for a while, so I'm finding myself having three or four smaller ones for each time.
Vapour is great though and battery life lasted about seven hours, but that was heavy use sat at the pc, I'm sure it would stretch out a lot longer with general use. Early days yet but I do like it, I just need to figure out how to 'smoke' it properly I think.

I've noticed that this cut-out behaviour can happen when a battery is new (for some reason especially with the blue ones, but that's probably just me). If you let the battery run down to the point when it flashes and produces no vapour, then charge overnight, I've found that this can help. I think that the cut-off seems more sensitive in newer batteries and improves with time.

this happened once to me and i couldnt work out why. so i decided to fully drain the atomiser by disconnecting from the battery, holding the metal wick against some paper towel and blowing thru the battery end. repeat until all juice has gone and leave to stand overnight with the wick resting on a paper towel to suck out any juice that is left.
in the morning i then replaced with a new cart and kept taking puffs until the vapour started to appear. this completely eliminated the problem for me.
if it doesnt work for you then give john a call or email at intellicig.......im sure he will be able to help you.

Update.....Charging direct via the usb socket, constant light on, didn't notice how long but I put it on charge from flat, half an hour ago. Strange how it doesn't do it from my hub though. Maybe it's not pushing enough power out ?
