Yes Daniels, I've heard about that, Tim from smokejuice.co.uk says he soaks tobacco in glycerine and vapes it in one of these and it works well. Apparently 95% of the nasties are removed by vaping instead of burning and smoking the tobacco.
It can also be used with molasses mixed with eliquid for the nicotine, that's supposed to work well too.
A new eliquid is being worked on for use with the I-Inhale to avoid the problem of flavourings vaporising too quickly.
If eliquid becomes a controlled substance this will be my choice of vice rather than going back to smoking.
I'd love a purple one Wild

In the promotional image, the straw is quite short. But in the actual image, it is much longer. Is there a reason for this? I really like the idea of it, but the huge straw sticking out is not doing much for me.

The mouthpiece can be extended, there are extra connectors with the kit. I think that this is because vaping herbs can make the tube hot, that's not a problem with liquid.

Thank you Kate
I really want one of these, it seems like the perfect "insurance." Ecigs just don't seem very reliable from my research, something like this might make a lot of sense.

At the moment I prefer to use my Kissbox, I get a better experience with it.
The drawbacks for the I-Inhale are not serious, however, and if I could be bothered I would experiment with different eliquids, ingredients and flavouring types to find something more satisfying.
I also feel a lot more secure that if eliquid is banned I can still vape and get 'safer' nicotine even though that would mean heating tobacco.

The ability to use tobacco or liquid is a huge bonus! Should the SH!T ever hit the fan a person would still have an alternative to fall back on.
I hope the issue with the flavorings can be sorted out, I'm not a HUGE flavor fan, but it certainly is nice to get a nice taste in your mouth!
(If anyone ever see's discounts or coupons for these thing, please send me a private message so I can check it out)

I agree, great alternative. If your looking for home use and not sure about vaping you can always get a home unit that plugs in the wall for $50-100 and I'm told once you pack them you can leave them running all day, they only produce vapor when sucked on. Just watch the temp on home units, they go to 450F may be an issue for PG or VG. The i-Inhale goes to 274F. Also look for "Hands Free" on home units.
Kate, you said you where only getting 90 minutes on the i-Inhale... they state 2 hours, but I noticed in one of there videos (which they took down, because name is changing) they use 5X butane. Are you using standard or hybrid butane?
-
The running temperature of the I-Inhale is 190 degrees C apparently.
The butane can says 'ultra refined' whatever that means, I don't know what 5x is but guess it might be concentrated or something.
-
Holly S**T, that's 374°F !!! I was told 274°F.
What's a 100° between friends? LOL

Kate, you know us in the States, nothings ever good enough... MORE POWER! They have several "types" of butane in any decent cigar shop. Wether or not it truly makes a difference I don't know. Some boast "ultra clean", "ultra refined" "includes O2"... what ever.
Some people say, and my only experience is with cigar torches, that the "better" butane last longer or burns hotter. My personal experience is when it's empty, I have to fill it.
