I wouldn't expect big changes in the flavor. It uses the same atties as the 510, it has the same battery voltage as the 510. The cone changes the draw a little bit and warms up the vapor/atty. That may enhance some flavors while detracting from others.

Xcetra :o) Didn't mean to ignore you! Just figured out how to get back to this thread...I CAN NOT WAIT to get my ego!!!!

Before I ask my question let me just say where I am in my new vapor habit. I have a Kr8 I like it. I've stocked up on batteries, have a lot of cartomizers. I'm putting in a large order of my favorite go to juice, TV menthol
My problem. When I smoke analogs I went outside took a break from what I was doing and smoked. It was like a mini vacation. Even when I do that with my Kr8 I still think I need something to do. I thought dipping or dripping might fill that need. Does that make sense to anyone? Do they feel dripping gives them something extra to do? Make you take that break like analogs can. When I first heard of the Ego I though a lot of the improvements had to do with battery and atomizer life. I'm looking for an extra cost efficient tool in my tool box. Not to totally replace what I have.

I had lots to do with my kr8 and my 510 because I was always charging batteries swapping attys and the like. None of those things were the vacation you were talking about which I understand and know very well. I vape indoors because I have my own office and so I can shut the door and do my thing. My employees know I vape and some have disdain for it while others could care less. We only have 1 analog smoker in our company and she only smokes 1-2 a day at work. She does not want to convert yet unfortunately. With the eGo I guess you could go out and vape, only because of this... while my 510 was always in my mouth, I can vape on the eGo and then set it down. I get my necessary fix from it and then I can do without it for awhile, on my 510 I never felt like the fix was totally there, until I overvaped. With the kr8 although I got a little fix, it was way too expensive for my tastes, I was using a cart or two a day and dripping was not working well with the auto batteries I was using. So this might fill your need only because it is potent, portable and easy. On the other hand that "mini" vacation was a mindset for me, and I just pull away from whatever I am doing and vape and get my mind right... especially with the stress that has been so abundant for me lately.
I hope that helps,

Thanks it did. I'm still confused on what I want right now. I don't want to spend alot of money right now. I decided to order a couple 901 atomizers and carts that I can use with the batteries I have now. I'll probable order an adapter so I can try 510 and maybe 301? atomizers.
In the meantime I'll just be lurking here learning everyone's opinions on the tornado and ego
I like my Kr8 but I think I'll need another one.

Janty eGo
Have any of you had the problem of the button accidently being pushed on the eGo while in your pocket? I watched a review where a gentleman said that this was the only thing about the eGo that he didn't like.
He ended up taking it apart befor putting it back into his pocket to remedy the situation. Shame they don't sell a case for it that would prevent this from happening.

I think the eGo comes with a soft carrying pouch.

I have incidentally hit the button while it was in a lower vest pocket, felt warm and I moved. This also happened with my 510 early on and it melted the cart. The difference is the eGo did not melt the cart and since I have learned how to carry my device differently.
