My Janty eGo first impressions
I know many people have already done reviews on this device but I had to throw in my .02.
History, I started with a Smoke51 e Cig. I quit smoking pack a day a few years ago and the habit was coming back. I was up to several analogs a day and it was growing every day so I saw these at a high class smoke shop I used to get my American Spirits from. I paid nearly $100 for 2 batteries, charger and 5 carts. I actually didnt mind the Kr808 and used it enough that I was buying 5-10 carts a week for $20 bucks per 5 carts! I found this forum and made the decision to try something else because of the cost.
I found Cignot and Nhaler, I ordered the Cignot $35 no box kit and some EcoPure and some Nhaler juice with the adapter for the 510 to Kr808 carts. The 510 blew me away it was much better and with the EcoPure I was loving it. Soon after I quickly realized that battery life was poor on the 510's and I have a reaction to PG so I could only do VG liquid, specifically EcoPure which is what I favored, even though it is more expensive. Cignot is fantastic as far as shipping, questions, customer service, warranty, you name it.
So a PCC, another kit, extra atomizers and carts later I got real tired of carrying around 3-4 batteries plus liquid plus atomizers and carts. I wanted a mod now, because I enjoy vaping and it has kept me away from analogs.
I have read up on every mod I could, GG, Jantystick, Xhaler, Chuck and Juicebox, you name it and all had their positives and negatives. I really wanted a Juicebox however I get enough stares at work with the 510 and really didn't want the strange attention a box would give.... although I love the liquid delivery method it uses, I also did not want to wait as the battery issue with the 510's was getting worse since the charge they held seemed less and less over time. Juicebox build to delivery time is like 3-4 weeks+. It is probably the end all solution to the cart filler problem.
Then I found the eGo, and all I can say is WOW, I got it today and it is fantastic. I paid $79 plus ship for it and I have never ordered from them before.... shipping was UPS and was a little slower than I would have liked but it was worth the wait. This thing is classy, sleek, and outperforms my 510 by leaps and bounds.
Some specifics just from today...
Packaging is great, maybe too nice since I wont use the box again, nice little pouch. Everything is built very well. I charged it up which took a few minutes.
I loaded up an existing atomizer and cart freshly dripped and....
I get more 5+ more puffs from the eGo than I did with the same amount of dripping/cart on the 510, it is more consistent with the draw, throat hit and the flavor, who knew there was flavor until the eGo... I can taste that expensive EcoPure now! It blows pumes of Vapor each time, in fact I have to be more careful with this and cut my liquid because it delivers so well. I am trying to figure out why this is because it is the same atomizer and cart, the fact that the battery and cover changes so much is really nice, even though I havent figured out why, I know many have speculated on this but I want to look into this further. Yes I still have to drip but it is really not hard to pull the cart off and add 2-3 drops. I cannot say on total battery life yet I will later, but so far it has vaped longer than 2 510 batteries and it is still going strong. You know the fully charged 510 first few draws... that is what you get on all of them with this. It does not seem to heat up as much as my 510 but that could be because I do not need to hold the button as long. One downside I have seen is that I cannot hold it in my mouth as long because it is heavier...which would be with most all of the mods, however I did that a lot in the past to feel when the 510 had cooled down to take the next vape. I am very pleased and now I am going to work on the cart issue with the brass, frayed PTB and ZFM mods over the next few days. I am definitely looking forward to Jany producing the Tesla Filter!

Just got my Ego about 45 minutes ago, and I must say it hits very well. Wow! I think I'm really going to like this one. So far I have the Janty Stick V3 and the Ego and both are very nice units.

My eGo shipped out today, and will be here Thursday. Your review just made the wait that much longer! XD

Had it for a few days now and the battery life has exceeded 7 hours on each so far. I vape quite a bit and so I go through two batteries a day 7am to Midnight.... this is wonderful considering that I was rotating 5 -510 batteries and each one charged at least 2-3 times a day, I was also having to to put liquid in multiple atomizers and carts, now I just use one atomizer and one cart that is all I need. The Janty 510 atomizer is a workhorse and the set up keeps it from getting too hot.
The only other drawback if there is one I see is that there is a little condensation that occurs between the atty and the atty cover after prolonged use, I simply wipe this away with a napkin and I am good to go. BTW I am going to give my 510 batteries to some friends who want to try the e cig.

eGo was my first ever e-cig, love it. Maybe I was lucky with help from forum to get a decent e-cig with out all the trial and error. Thanks all.

Out of three, the Ego is the best I've tried so far. Amongst other things, it's nice changing the battery once a day versus 3-4 times a day like i had to with my 510.

As this should be I will update this as time goes on. It has almost been a week now with my eGo I have not picked up my 510 again in fact I have given some of the items to a friend of mine and he loves vaping now. However after seeing my eGo he is now ordering one. I have been using eGo when I play Texas Hold em and everyone asks how I can sit at a table for 6-8 hours with one e-cig. This device truly solves the battery problem.

Thank you for your comments, and please keep updating Xcetra! I've decided to go with the ego, due to reviews I've seen here.. it will be my first ecig, (totally new to this, as you can see this is my very first post!) and I'm trying to read everything I can on here to be ready for any issues that might come up. In fact I've stared at this computer screen so long trying to learn everything that I feel like my eyeballs are going square!
