SMOKE 51 Smoke Anywhere Inc Serious Quality Issues

I know that there were many issues with the shorter battery with smoke-51's kit. So much so that they discontinued including it in the kits.

I have verbal conformation that a new "updated" battery is being released and shipped from China and should hit Canada next week. (I'm told that this new release was to address an internal wiring issue causing premature failure).

But, because my purchase had the two long batteries in it, I never thought to ask if it meant that the "shorty" was coming back or not.

I'll inquire and post back later once they answer.

Greg--thanks as they have got to get their act together. Their concept is great, but the batteries have to work!!! I have one laying around here that I had given up on with all the issues---will wait to hear--Sun

Yes, they do need to step up to support their higher selling prices for sure.

I wish I had a dead one laying around so I could scavenge the cart connector and project a DIY'r set up for the disposables with a manual switch.

I feel Janty's on the right path with their Dura-C, and would really like to see the LTv9's incorporate this design. I'd much rather have the manual control over having a pressure switch.

Good to know. My short battery stopped working and when I gutted it all it took was a wiggle of the positive lead on the battery and it started right back up. I couldn't tell what exactly was causing it to not work while inside the tube, it was possibly shorting out to the tube itself.

That was my intention, but I was using the connector to help pry out some cartridge guts and ended up breaking the battery connector in two about midway through the threads. Can't use it now

Hi is there other batteries that fit on the smoke51 cartridges. I bought 6 batteries 5 of them won't charge after the first time and one is working on and off and it take a a lot of pucking power to get the smoke out. I also have problems with the charger and had to buy a second , the USB charger. This little joke cost me $300.00 US and have nothing to show for it except a pile of frustration. With the last shipment they told me that they had a bad batch and the new ones were OK they are not.

NEVER BUY SMOKE51!!!!!! This company definitely is a scam or something. I have contacted the better business bereau regarding this. They have charged us $119.90 and $29.95 separately and I am afraid they will do more. They sent me the trial and I sent it back. I never got charged the $9.95 they stated for shipping the trial so it seems they might have rearranged a few numbers in their billing system and charged me $140.00 more than that. They sent me some more stuff even after I sent an email to cancel it. You will have to contact your bank/credit card and tell them this company is fraudulent. NEVER BUY SMOKE51!!!!!!

Write to your state Attorney General about this scheme. They have a consumer protection submission link in Ohio that I am sure they also have in other states. I had a similar issue when I ordered AcaiBerry on a free trial. I immediately cancelled when I read the fine print, but got charged anyway. The complaint to the AG solved it. There are tons of these scams all over the internet: diet aids, beauty products, e cigs, everything. If you see free trial, chances are this is what you get. It should be illegal, but apparently it is not. I did read the fine print on the offer you got scammed with and found that the free trial starts on the day you order. Chances are, you will have passed the 14 day limit by the time it gets to you. Even if you try to cancel within the 14 day limit, it is unlikely you will be able to reach anyone on the phone line they provide.

Nowhere on the smoke51 website do I see a trail offer being offered here: Smoke51 Electronic Cigarettes No Tar No tobacco - No Second Hand Smoke

Perhaps this is some kind of offer from an affiliate, distributor, dealer or something ??
