atomizers are going
Well, not too happy about my atomizer performance with my kissbox classic. Two down within a month, using one from vaporguys still working so far. Order another atomizer from parked. If things don't get better will sell my kissbox classic and just buy an 801 or ladypipe.
btw I do love the kissbox when working.

I am definitly trying the other atomizer - my original atomizer broke down only one week old!!!
CLASSIC ATOMIZERS
JANTY™ CLASSIC ATOMIZER (compatible with the JANTY™ KISSBOX CLASSIC)
It looks a lot like the one I am using now instead of the one that comes with the Kissbox and it works better....
BTW; I am right now trying another cartridge: CLASSIC FARGO and I am getting really dizzy as if I am smoking something very different - is it me being sensitive or what? Very strange!

I am going bananas soon........!!!
The Janty atomizer died 1 week old.
Tried two 801 atomizers. One lasted 2 weeks (very good when it worked though) and the last one only lasted one day???
I cleaned them in warm water with a little soap, rinsed them in warm clean water. Dried them - nix nada, no smoke - no nothing.
HOW do you make these atomizers work again/ or why do they drop dead so soon? Looking inside of them they look very clean, no discoloring or anything. Can I repair them somehow??
Getting more and more desperate... are you guys also throwing them away in the same speed I am?
regards the soon to be desperado *s

cleaning my kissbox
I will never ever clean my kissbox atomizers again. The water trick just made my atomizer go dead. I now just unscrew em and leave them upside down to drain (battery hole up). The 801 did work on mine but the carts fit loosely. So, far two weeks and counting.

I wish I knew the process a bit better, and why I cannot make them work again
Havalina: look at post #212 and see also pictures of the atomizer

Kissbox Classic Vapor Production
First of all, thanks to everyone in advance for any help you can provide. I would have started a new thread, but I'm a new user. So, sorry if this is hijacking, or if this has already been mentioned before---couldn't find it through Google or the ECF search function.
I just got a classic from DietSmokes and was happy with the speed of service. However, after working with the weird battery charging cycle, my first impressions leave me wondering if I've got a bum part, or suffering from user error.
- When I smoke the classic, the draw on the automatic switch has to be quick and hard to produce any vapor. If I draw lightly, the LED turns off very quickly, which I'm assuming means the battery turns off. The manual switch has to be held for a long time to produce any vapor. Am I doing something wrong?
- When I do get vapor and inhale, my exhale breath looks like that of a normal cigarette. Weak and stale. Everyone's video reviews looks like they're puffing on a hookah! How do I get that kind of vapor? So far, no clouds of vapor and no nicotine hit with my classic.
I'll have to try the second battery when it is done with it's initial charge cycle. What do you seasoned classic users think? Is it a bum battery, bum switches? Should I get a generic atomizer (I've heard the classics aren't that good)? Am I doing something wrong?
Many thanks,
Jeff

Janty Auto Switch Trick?
I just got a new Auto Switch from and this one started to stick in only a few days. I noticed if I put my finger on the Red Light it would give a good draw. So I just put a piece of tape on the light and it works great. Not sure why this made it work. I guess its stopping air leaking in the light hole?

No. The auto switch is funky and virtually useless. I have been through two of them and I prefer the auto switch in a conventional battery over the KB auto switch

Vapor production has to do with smoking fluid, draw technique, battery voltage, recovery time of the atomizer after a draw, etc. Make sure you have a fully-charged battery. The manual switch is the thing that will probably produce more vapor for you. Unlike the automatic cut-off of the auto switch, you can manually heat the atomizer longer with the manual switch, thereby creating more vapor, and, hopefully, a better throat hit.

I may be in the minority, but I am not overly fond of KB atomizers. I think they draw way too easily. I prefer using other generic atomizers like those from Puresmoker, JuicyLiquids or VaporGuys. My Janty atomizers are spares in case of emergency.
If you have any concern about your batteries, contact the vendor for a replacement or technical support. KB batteries do not seem to last very long, but married with a manual switch, it really is a very nice 'walking around' device.
