    --At this point, it seems like the placement of the holes and how many holes seems logical for safety purposes on the super T S6 and other Super T models.
    Why?
    Becuase you don't want the gasses trapped in the tube and have the atty shoot at your face. (as you many already know) and other reasons.
    (Note: this is very unlikly to happen. even analogs are dangerous as you can start a fire)

    --I think safety will become more of an issue in the vaping community as time goes by.. wether it be scared into you or just feel like its the smart thing to do, or whatever your reason.


    ------What are your views on safety vent holes in PVs, placement of holes, where they are located, ect. and why?

    Safety features are great. That said, all the safety features in the world can't stop someone who uses a product incorrectly or purposely tries to push it past what it's meant to do. Even cell phone and laptop batteries explode.

    I've read some posts (in some other threads) and some seem to not understand vent holes. They are simply there to relieve a rapid spike in internal PSI in the event of a battery failure which could cause the mod to fragment apart. Most all high pressure bottles have a similar feature; a safety vent that will give away should the internal pressure raise to an unsafe level, thus allowing the gases to vent and preventing the bottle from fragmenting. All my welding gas bottles have them, my Nitrous Oxide bottle has them. Even alot of shaving cream bottles have them on the bottom (a plastic plug that will give way).

    Someone once posted that vent holes are untested. Though i agree they haven't been tested per se on mods, vent holes and/or safety relief systems are in place on many devices that may achieve dangerous pressures. They are the simplest of engineering.

    Never knew that about vent holes....I guess you live you learn.....

    Just to add a little somthing to that...

    Never pull the rubber plug out of the bottom of the shaving cream can..

    Well...you can....common prank actually....feeze the shaving cream cans and the pull the plugs...and then put frozen cans in your buddies car (or whatever)...when they thaw they fill the car with foam..

    All the recent hoopla over devices exploding can more than likely be traced back to some type of user error...

    I applaud David for making safe devices... They have locking buttons, vent holes ect...

    I only vape at 3.7 with protected batteries so that is an added safety level for me... I am not afraid of 6V... I just don't like it....

    With all the safety precautions David's devices have, I would have NO issue vaping them at 6V with unprotected batteries...
