Beware of the Quit Smoking Purists

What are the chances Fred would also include a smokeless tobacco subforum over there?? LOL!

I was just playing around on google - how does anyone find that forum, anyhow?? It only ranked high when I googled "quit smoking forum."

Now that you guys got what you wanted,

Let me tell you what I wanted. I wanted Equality. Fairness. The ability to post within the rules without getting chewed up and spat on by those who took it on themselves to re-write the rules. I think today's action by Fred is a step toward that direction. I did suggest in this thread I think they should make sub forums, and it was stolen from here by their member Brad to use to try to belittle me. I posted I was not trying to say anything negative, but actually thought it was a good idea for that forum. I do not know how much that post influenced Fred's decision to make the sub forums. I do know that I was told they were, "working on something" to help relieve the pressure we "e-cig people" were under. Of course I'd like to think they saw that post and took it under advisement. LOL

And, I wanted most importantly to be able to suggest a way, that e-cigs could save someones life when all other ways failed. Of course we Know some people might use an e-cigs and never get off nicotine. We also know this will not kill them like cigarettes will which is the point of quitting. I'm O.k. with that today. One step at a time.

I do plan on being there to help out any way I can when people have questions. It's about saving lives. ( after we save their life, then they can find out how much Fun it is!)

But then again, I was intent on lounging around the house all day anyway.
We're still recovering from our dinner party last night.

I'll be happy to participate once I'm approved. I don't think my posts that are waiting approval could be construed to mean I have any "dubious intentions".

I did say a few things here that I would I would never have said over there (or I least I would have tried not... I'm only human). But if you're going to eavesdrop on another forum with the intention of only digging up dirt, you just might find some.

That being said, once I am able to post, I may post a general apology for any offense I might have made. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to participating.

And John... credit where credit is due, man. You had the guts to get this started, so good job! And kudos as well to everyone else who has participated!

Yes you have been very busy...you've got a wealth of information up over there already...don't burn yourself out though.

I noticed some of the regs who stayed are less than thrilled.... I hope they come around to at least seeing the value of a different perspective with time.

Great! I didn't actually mean the sub-forums, I just meant that now that you can have a voice over there you should be sure to keep using it!

Kristin... I want to thank you for offering your voice and some moral support on this thread. I've come to value your opinion during my time here at ECF. I know how active you are in educating people on the value of vaping and you are truly a value to the vaping community as a whole not just ECF. I thought you should know that if you don't already.
