I tried a hypnosis session, as part of a group, each of whom paid $50. The lecturer was excellent. Extremely scientific in his explanation of smoking and its consequences. That was worth my $50. I liked him, learned from him.

But the hypnosis failed me. I discovered I am not visually oriented. I cannot conceive graphics. I'm a writer; I sometimes dream pages of text and read the words while I sleep. I do not think "images". I think "prose".

So the suggestions he made were ones I couldn't translate. "An orange blob enters your lungs and begins cleaning them." What orange blob? I couldn't conjure up any orange blob.

Side note. As we all left the auditorium - about 50 of us this night - I could see cigarette lighters flicking to life all across the darkened parking lot.

Haven't had time to do much hypnosis, seemed more like placebo effect than anything. Than again its mostly willpower quitting...

Back on the 901 bandwagon Got plenty of juice to last me for years, but gonna order some more atomizers this weekend. Juicebox only needs AA batteries

    Default Hypnotherapy mp3's!

    hey all,

About 8 months ago when I decided to give up smoking it was the stress of it all that was really making it difficult for me. If you ask my mum she'll tell you I became unbarable....but then she asked me to try self hypnosis downloads. I was well sceptical but you can't really turn down a request from your mother, and to my surprise it helped with my stress levels and helped me not to turn back to cigerettes! So I would recomend it to anyone, although many people are sceptics it was good to see a post that supports new ideas like this.

I was hypnotized back in 2004 and it actually worked... The hypnotist told me there was a year guarantee. On day 366, I bought another pack. I kid you not.

Maybe your hypnotist wanted you to come back for another session after a year?

Was there something left in your subconscious mind about a 20% off for repeat customers?

My mom was going to try it on me (as her guinea pig) but I said NO WAY!

I've even tried acupuncture! Couldn't get much sleep because I had to deal with the pins in my ears. Man, I was smoking my ass off after the pins were taken out. Think she was sponsored by the tobacco co.!?

I have also been to one of those "group" sessions. I agree with Bob, the guy that did it seemed very good and had a lot of information. Mine worked for about a week.

Currently though using ecigs and my own DIY juices I have cut back from 18mg of nic a day to 10mg. Yes, I do plan on cutting all the way down to 0mg eventually. But odd I do not plan on giving up vapping completely as I enjoy the act.

Hey guys, a while ago I had uploaded a very good hypnotherapy set, if you know how to use torrents.

Here's the torrent link: Hypnotherapy CD Set - Fixed (download torrent) - TPB

It's the exact one as this here: New Life Clinics' Family Program

Since I saw this in the recent posts list, I figured I'd drop by and share the link.

The power of suggestion is a powerful thing. When the hypnosis is rational, well rational in your opinion it has a better success rate. Over all I would say do whatever works for you. Keep up the good work.
