Ditto from here, Patricia, this is a whole new ball-game, but to get away from cigarettes it's the very best technological breakthrough ever!! Learning curve can be massive, you're reason for doing it must be firm, a lot of information to learn and a lot of "shopping" to do!! Whoo! But when you find what works best for you it's a piece of cake, and very much worth it! I'm almost 6 months away from cigarettes, was impressively easy, and if this is keeping me away from killer coffin nails I'm willing to do a "new" addiction, no question about it, Zeddy, go!

510 would be the eaiest started cig for you. get some good juice 18mg and some 24mg strengths, imo you learning curve, yes. once you get it down youll not want to ever go back to analogs with all the mess they present, plus no cancer to look forward to..
get a starter kit for sure and a pcc and/or passthru is a must to have with 510's.

Anyone who would steer you to a Blu and make it seem like they are a good device is definitely not your friend. Here are JUST TWO of the many threads about the problems with the Blu:

could you just make them yourself, what would you require? Also are cartridges re-usable? :o if not then can you buy re-usable ones?
Thanks again for all the replies! 2 days without smoking (our nicotine) and counting... just the thought of my e-cig is keeping me strong..

That may be why health cabin isn't shipping there, hope yours gets through. You can mix your own flavored liquids, there is a DIY liquid section here on that, but to include nicotine you'll need to buy some (you don't want to extract nicotine from tobacco leaves, its fairly dangerous work). The cartridges are reusable, check the cartridge mod section for more info.

Holy crap man.
wv2win DOES NOT LIKE BLU E-CIGS.
Wheeew, I think NOW everyone finally got it.
Now you can stop posting on every Blu thread that comes up just to crap on it. I swear you must have a secret alarm that goes off if anyone dares to mention Blu in public.
Why post on every Blu thread just to bash them? If you don't like them, why do you even bother? It's like a sick obsession with you.
Now I know this is a hard concept to grasp, so I'll try to type it in small, easy to understand words....
Just because YOU don't like something does not make it crap. Other people are allowed to enjoy things that you do not like.

I'm not surprised you are missing the point and attacking me instead of the informantion I provided. When you have hundreds of negative posts on a device to one positive post, then it is not me stating that the Blu is a POS but instead the vast majority. When you provide advice to a new member and fail to make that distinction, you are not helping them but instead being misleading. If you cannot be honest and complete, don't provide information that will possibly result in the new member giving up and continuing to use analogs. Hundreds of Blu users disagree with you, not just me.

Update: still waiting for my e-cigarette, so far the e-cig has been the best thing for me when trying to quit smoking, and i haven't even got it (starting to reconsider the device) since i've been thinking all along "ill just suck it up and wait for my device" and been without a single smoke for 5 days of which 2 last days without nicotine completely thanks to that way of thinking.. :P
