Only a complete uninformed tool would continue to argue that vaping is smoking in any way shape or form really. Luckily I have not had the displeasure of running into anyone like that.

Yes, Youtubecommercial, my doctor does not believe it's smoking. Also, all the MDs and nurses in November 2008, when I was hospitalized for a fracture and in August 2009, when I had that other surgery were fine with me using my e-cig while I was an inpatient. I can use it during office visits. No problem at all. They are curious, mostly. I call it a nicotine inhaler rather than use the term "cigarette." A couple had heard of them. LOTS of med people wanted websites to purchase for friends, spouses, parents.

    Default quit

I quit smoking on 2/7/09. The patches worked with a support group. Howevrer, I still miss not smoking. I have been toying with the idea of using an e cig 0 nic for quite sometime. See my other posts. Well, I broke down and ordered a 501. I will use non nic juice and see how that goes. I am committed to never smoking a regular cig again. Waiting for my e cig.

So far been 2 weeks without any analogs, after many unsuccesful quits in the past I can see myself staying off the analogs! Currently vaping away on the 510 with Low/Med nic, first week was tough, but getting through it.

I am on day 6 without an analogue and I feel great, the USB passthru really is awesome and does help. I am currently on 24 mg nic, I plan on stepping down my nic in the next couple of months. My cravings are totally under control with with e-cig. I currently own a 510, SS Micro, and a Vapor King.

i quit smoking the day i received my first 501, it was 4 month ago.
i used to smoke 1 pack+ a day (camel) for about 12 years.
i started with 11mg nic liquid, now i'm doing 6mg and it's ok.
i used non-nic liquid for 10 days and didn't miss nicotine at all but i missed throat hit so i got back to 6mg.
i really don't miss real cigarettes at all, i will never smoke again in my life, pretty sure about that.

Smile Darn right you can quit! I did! SO EASY!

I smoked on & off for 30 years! (Was up to 1 pack/day.) I have not smoked one single cigarette since the very first day I received my first e-cig on July 2, 2009. (Almost 3 months ago.) It was completely effortless with zero cravings for a cigarette. The e-cig is 100% as satisfying as a cigarette, but no stinky cigarette odor, my lungs feel better, and I'm not spending $6/day on a filthy smelly habit anymore. I really love the e-cig. It was so easy to kick cigarettes using it.

I'm almost completely off the nicotine addiction entirely also. (I may actually be, but I haven't tested that theory yet to find out for sure.) I started with a few high nicotine cartridges, then moved down to medium, then to the lowest nic level. I now have a combination of low nic and zero nic cartridges in my current supply, and to tell you the truth I don't know which are which, so...I may actually no longer be nicotine dependent at all. I just love vaping still, so I keep on, but I honestly don't think I really NEED to anymore at this point.

I 'tasted' someone's tobacco cigarette once and it was horrible! I could not smoke it if I wanted to. It taste so bad, smelled so bad, and one puff made me feel lightheaded. I am so over cigarettes now!

I smoked 20-30 analogs for 23 years. I received my IntelliCig Evo on 27th July 2009. Immediately I stopped smoking analogs at work however I still smoked them at home (mainly because I had remaining supplies). I switched to e-cigs completely on 16th August 2009. I use medium liquid now and I'm going to use low and then 0 mg in future.

    Regards,
