No analogs since Sept. 15, was at 2 1/2 packs a day for 24 years, and haven't smoked since the first day. Very little withdrawal, whiter teeth, a bit stressed the first 2 weeks, I seem to be using a lot more air freshener than I used to, and well zits, is it just me, or is my facial skin rebelling. I'm too old for this. My cats don't run away when I light up, Mom doesn't kick me out of the house for taking a hit when I visit her, the upstairs neighbors actually smile and say Hello to me now. Haven't ruined a shirt or tie since I started from burns; my nose hairs are longer, dont singe them with a lighter turned up too high, Oh, and no more dead lighters. I hate the local skunk now, he didnt used to bother me too much; its more quiet, I had a big air purifier, dont need it now. My eyes dont burn, or my fingers, or my ass when I knock the cherry off my cig. My blind aunt doesnt smell me coming (now I'm the fat nephew instead of the stinky one). No more burns in the rug, but I do need to clean my walls or paint, yellow tar stains all over.
Oh yeah, coughers and scratchy throats, seriously try VG instead of PG, it makes a big difference. Its available pretty much anywhere, from cooking additives to skin care, look around.
And one question, I saw something about carrots, where do you put those?

Its easy to quit with the ecig but i found after a many months
i was turning back to the analogues.I now vape and smoke,
sure i smoke less but i struggle to avoid the anolgues completely.
i have tried many times now but after a few months i fall
i ended up with the pv permanently welded to myabsstbtion aree

must try harder at tricking my mind into believing the ecig is the same as a cigarette !

Started smoking in 1971. Last analog was 08 May 2009. I cannot even stand the smell of a real cigarette anymore.

kit idk how you have that problem. I hope I dont... but dont think I will either. My nuport high voltage tastes way better to me than a real analog does... I crave the vape, it tastes so much better.

    Last analog September 12th.

My fiancee combines analogs with vaping, and has cut her analog intake to about 1/3rd of previous.

Even with analogs in the house and freely available, I feel no compulsion or temptation to sneak one.

The approved NRT's are a joke, their short-term and especially long-term success rates place them right up there with snake oil.

I got my e-cig and stopped smoking that night. I actually lit an analogue the next day on the drive into work without thinking, smoked about half of it and the just let it go. Gave away the rest of my analogues and have not looked back. I was lucky because the 510 I had ordered really did the trick for me, then I ordered a Vapor King and that helped as well. I have converted a couple friends from work. Some make the change over immediately like myself, and others have been vaping and decreasing smoking analogues over time. Either way I think it is a good thing.

    Default Analog free

I know there are people here who have been smokers so much longer than I was however, The day I received my 510, I still had 15 camel cigs left in the box. That very day, I vaped for the first time,...and then tossed the rest of the pack in the trash. I haven't looked back. This was 2 1/2 months ago. I never crave for an analog. NOT EVER! This has to be the best invention of the century! Good luck with your efforts! I'm sure if you grasp the e-cig with open arms, you too will be a non-smoker!

Yes I'm with Sun. I have not heard many folks on here say that they have not completely quit analogs once they started vaping. I am smoke free since July 10 and don't miss it one bit.

Haven't smoked since 10/26/09, but more importantly I haven't had an urge to smoke either. Which means my Vapor King is doing what it's supposed to do.

I also converted a co-worker. He tried to smoke one time after a couple days of vaping off my spare battery, but couldn't even get 1-2 puffs off the analog before trashing it. I just ordered him a full kit in hopes of him staying with it [link]

This may sound insignificant, never the less. I weened off analogs completely 5 days ago. Been vaping about 2 weeks. During the weening period. I smoked may 5-6 the first day, then down to 4 the next 2 days, then 3, then none. I had some equipment issues the first week, so I had to wait to vape, but since then, no desire. The taste of an analog is nasty to me now. I have been trying for years to quit, without success. This is finally the answer for me!!
