7 days after getting my ecigs I finished my last analog. It's been 9 days since and I feel muchbetter and have had no desire to go back to them. Plus the freedom of vaping anywhere I want makes it well worth it.

    Default 1 year anniversary yesterday!

I just celebrated 365 days analog-free yesterday. That's right...a whole freakin' year without a real smoke thanks to e-cigs. I do feel great! I am seriously thinking of weening off of vaping and go totally nicotine-free. Wish me luck..I'll keep you posted over the next couple of weeks/ months.

I wish you all the best. GOOD LUCK and please do keep us up to date. There are 20 thousand+ members on this forum with less than 1/2 active. One has to wonder if they gave up all forms of nicotine and vaping or if they went back to smoking. I wish we had the answer!

I haven't been analog free for as long as some others here, but I haven't touched one since I got my e-cig. Between the flavors, the lack of nasty smells, and the health benefits, I don't see myself ever going back.

I bought my first e-cig on Friday 30th October 2009 and it was that evening that I had my last analogue rollie. So nearly 3 days cigarette free for me, am just starting out but feeling very positive, already I can feel the positives
Sense of smell is so much better
    Taste has intensified
    No tight chest
No sense of stress building of when I can have my next rollie

All in all I never want to smoke analogue cigarettes again! Had got quite sick of them the few weeks leading up to buying my e-cig so am still a bit in awe that I don't want to smoke anymore it doesnt quite feel real.

I got a 901 last thursday, have been a 1+ pack a day smoker of Marloboro Smooth's for about 12-13 years (not all those years were Smooths, as they just came out recently) , have never wanted to quit, i loved smoking, my wife was always on me that i needed to quit as she had last year. I simply did not have the slightest urge to quit, ever. I heard of vaping from a friend at work, researched it for a few days and ordered my 901. I got it last Thursday night, and have not had one puff off of an analog since, nor do i feel the urge to have one. I am currently using 24mg menthol. It definately covers my nic urges, and the physical urges to "smoke". It amazes me how easy it was to do this, going from "I will not quit" to quitting so simply. Although, i must say this bad attempt at menthol is quickly becoming gross tasting, but alas I have more flavors coming in the mail.

I got my first ecig last Wednesday and smoked my last analog Thursday night. Don't miss them and have no desire to have one. I smoked Pall Mall non filters for over 40 years. I got an 89mm from best eciggy and love it even though they tried to talk me into a bigger one. Sure hope I keep feeling this way.

I was a smoker for 12 years. I quit October 16, the day my e-cig arrived. My wife, a smoker for 18 years, quit October 29. Both of us were pack a day smokers. Life is better.

What is the best advice you could give someone going through what you have done?

I'm probably the golden child of the e-cig. Got mine in about 40 days ago, gave my last pack of analog cigs to a friend, and haven't touched one since. Have zero desire to smoke and can't honestly stand the smell of analogs any more. I don't even wanna think about how they taste.

I'm a 100% vaper. And intend to stay that way.
