Default Vison Cartomizer is leaking in to my EGO battery

I started using Vision cartomizers instead of standard ego-c type A tanks. The draw was good a couple of weeks, but now after a few puffs, liquid starts to get into the battery connection and I get no vapour, strange taste and have to wipe it once every couple of puffs. The ego-c tank works fine by the way. Maybe i screwed them to tight, or overfilled the liqiud? Now if I fill it to the maximum, 1.8ml, i get the same thing. Only when the liquid level drops to around 0.8, i can get a decent vapour, however I have to refill it much more often. Any help would be appreciated.

Is this the one you're talking about?

I had the same problem with these and pulled one apart to figure out what was going wrong.

One of mine got to the point where the tip wouldn't screw in enough to make contact with the silicone cap on the post. Turns out that he centre post can slip down inside the plastic tank over time and through general abuse. (I drop mine too often and sometimes catch myself working on something with both hands, my clearo between my teeth, eGo twist attached and just dangling from my mouth, hehe.)

See how in the picture below the whole atty post on the right hand one has dropped down?
It should be like the one on the left.

I use a teaspoon (but anything that's not sharp, fits in the bottom and can take a beating should do).
Place it in the bottom of the clearo against the post assembly and give the top of the tank a couple of taps with a rolling pin or rubber handle screwdriver.

Or, place upside down on a bench and put a screw head first into the bottom and tap the screw with a hammer.

Worked a treat to stop the leaking and brought 5 of my disused clearos back into circulation.
    Hope it helps.

I'll have to try this. Mine is doing the same thing and it's annoying as heck. My T2 is starting to do the same also.

Well I found out what the problem was with my T2. The wire was wound only on one side of the wick, leaving the majority of the wick with unburned juice that simply dripped down on to the battery connector. While checking it out, it went belly up. Put a new head in and back in business with no leaks.
