    Default Question Regarding Shelf-Life?

I've recently returned to vaping after a summer relapse back to the stinkies. I've been able to toss a ton of my old juice because it had obviously gone bad.

As I cleaned out my juice storage box I got rid of everything from my first newbie order, stuff I didn't like and stuff that I knew was 12 plus months old. I don't know why I hung on to the junk that was gross the day I received it and just got nastier as time went on.

My TV juices, on the other hand, still taste and vape great. Some even taste better None have discolored, all were stored in a box but not necessarily the coolest place (i.e. the fridge). They were stored in a black box on the floor in a corner with the rest of my boxes of vaping supplies.

On average I'd have to say that my TV juices are about 6 to 10 months old, maybe a few of the bottles are a little older.

I have absolutely no problem tossing them (despite them still tasting/vaping great) if you guys tell me that they are no longer good/safe to vape.

The only "old" TV juice I'm perplexed about are my bottles of AC. They seem to have lost potency. That's not to say that they taste *bad* - they just seem weaker tasting. This became very obvious yesterday when I received my first bottle of Cinnamon Apple and the cinnamon blew my socks off. I loved it and I know it will just get better.

So my main question is - What is the shelf life of TV juice?
Since I didn't date any of my old TV bottles, is there a definite way of telling if they have "expired"?

It's just not worth it to me to vape questionable juice. Although it will be painful to toss my TV collection, it won't take me long to re-stock with all my favorites.

    Thanks for the help,

    Remie

Yes, the AC will lose potency the older it gets. As we don't use a ton (if any at all) preservatives in our liquid, as such, we always recommend that our customers buy no more than they intend on using during a few months.

Generally our liquids last around 8 months, UNLESS you have a liquid from us that you've opted to add "tart booster" to, since this uses citric and malic acids which are natural preservatives, you can get a good year out of those.

Because we always mix each bottle per order, sold smaller quantities, instructed people to buy no more than they intend to use in a few months, nothing we ever sold had a chance to spoil, so putting "made on..." dates was not something we've done.

If there is a consensus among a lot of you that you think we should, we'll be happy to start.

Thanks for the reply! That's all I needed to hear. Out with the old and in with the new.

It's easy enough to write the date received on my bottles.

My major downfall was my analog relapse - everything sat unused for quite a few months.

Now I just have a great reason to reorder my favorites

If you can't remember how old a liquid is, log into your account and look at the order history.

That is why I always ask people who are much smarter than I am! Thanks Poeia, what a concept... check my order history
