Aerotank Mega users please read

Hey all,

I have been using Kanger products for a long time and never had an issue before, I have had the protank 2,3, unitank, aerotank and now have just bought the aerotank mega. This thing absolutly rocked.. best tank I have used until after a couple of days of using it.

The problem I am having is that the thing is leaking juice (it did not do this mind for the first couple of days and it has not been dropped or is broke in anyway), not leaking into the coil but from inside the chamber to the outside of the aerotank through the join of the glass and metal, its like small drops of eliquid seeping through. I have noticed on all the other protanks etc they have rubber seals inside and also the glass pyrex bit has lips which sit inside the metal casing, doesnt seem to be the case for the aerotank mega.

Anyone else had this issue or have I got a duff one? Would anybody be willing to dismantle theirs and tell me if there should be rubber rings inside like the others?

I haven't had any leaking. The only rubberized o rings are the ones mounted on the end caps. The chamber does not have any o rings when you screw it together. If I understand you correctly, yours is leaking from the outer side of the tank where the glass sits on the rubber seal connected to the metal base?

yeah, no issues with mine either... mine is like New2vaps as well. Been the best damned clearo I've ever used.

yes that is where its leaking, but mine doesn't sit on anything, its glass to metal either side of the glass Its deffo not right. I have emailed the company I got it off a few day ago but they don't seem to be responding.

Seems like you are missing the rubber seals on both ends of the end cap. Did you verify that your tank is authentic? You can do that by going to the Kanger web site and enter the code on the box.

I can't answer since I gave up on Kanger after the Aero. I can't believe you had no problems with the PT2. My T3Ss were far better.

Here is a picture of the main tank parts, you can see the rubber on the top and base. Might help you check if yours is missing or got something stuck there breaking the seal. I've had two of these since they first came out, been working great for a few weeks now.

There are no seals on mine, no wonder it is leaking. Myepack are not responding to any of my messages so I'm in a bit of a rut and don't know what to do. Does anyone know of any uk suppliers able to get hold of the rubber seals for me?
