8. Plastics: $11.6 billion

it would seem that way, lol, but no...they are a tiny fraction of the #1 import.

Top US imports from China:

1 Electrical machinery and equipment
2 Power generation equipment
3 Toys, games, and sports equipment
4 Furniture
5 Footwear and parts thereof
6 Apparel, knitted or crocheted
7 Apparel, not knitted or crocheted
8 Plastics and articles thereof
9 Iron, steel
10 Vehicles, excluding rail

all above are in the *billions* of dollars -- for instance, electrical machinery and equipment is over 98 billion per year.

https://www.uschina.org/statistics/tradetable.html (2011 stats, but figures have only increased since then)

Ref beat me to it, darn ;)...but i'm leaving it since i put in the effort. :D

dude your way off.. ecigs are by far the lowest export... whoever you were talking to really didnt know what they were talking about.. nor have any idea..

i work at a very large import and export company and i can tell you.. no one orders a container full of ecig parts, the parts are just too small to be ordering a 20ft container..

btw check this out.. it seems they are smuggling cigs in wood logs.
