Battery safety question.

I have a kangertech subox mini and i have just installed a 2.3ohm coil to the rba. I have a efest 18650 2500mAh 35a battery.
Ive been working my way up the wattage to find the best flavour and 20watts appears to be the sweet spot.
When i run it at 20watts ot comes up as 6.3volts.
My question is. Is that safe for the battery?

Sure; that's only about 7 amps from the battery worst case.

A rough formula to use on a regulated mod to figure roughly how safe you are with a battery

Wattage/3=amp draw needed

I generally add about 3-5 extra amps to that to give myself some "UHOH" safety room.

You should be fine upto the full 50 watts, given the battery your using is a 20 amp battery.

Welcome @Cudge82, you are in a safe range however that efest battery is not a 35a battery. You should check @Mooch for a list of true battery specs.

I thought so too at first lol but i wasnt sure. I am using an aspire 2500mah and it does CD20A and PD40A. Not so sure of efest.. But i am pretty sure he is in the safe zone there.. About 3-4Amps..
