Middle knuckle of my pinky. I have the HD spring on my Simplicity so it won't fire when set down and it's still no problem. I sort of squeeze my whole hand, with thumb and forefinger grip on the mod increasing and the pinky just seems to follow along.

when i get my k100 in the mail, ill try using my pinky (im double jointed and pretty strong with it i think) or ill try ring finger then middle finger like ryedan, if that fails ill either use 1 hand ot hold the mod and the other to hit the button. that shouldnt fail.
If all else fails, just grip mod, drip tip in mouth, and slam against a wall or table.
...and the medical examiner will be removing it from the base of your brain during your autopsy... the same thing that happens if an air bag goes off when you're vaping a tube mod.
I kinda rest the button against the inside of my ring finger, or my picky, grasp and tighten my grip. I was wary about getting a bottom button mech, but decide to just go ahead and buy one anyway. Since then, I've learned two things:
1) it's pretty ergonomic, and isn't awkward like I thought
2) the bottom button is the simplest activation design. It's hard to mess up a bottom button, since it's just a pin that you push up to make contact with the battery. Any kind of side button requires a lot more design, and parts to make it work correctly, which will lead to a lot more maintenance in many cases.
So, for me, I've grown to love the bottom button for practical, as well as aesthetic reasons.

I just put it on my desk and lean my face on it and go to sleep. Or use my middle finger. I thought it would be uncomfortable but I don't think it matters where the button is now that I own one, seems just as comfy to me either way
Middle finger using right hand and ring finger using left. I have no idea why though.

I use my little finger. Though being left handed - I often find I'm unscrewing the battery compartment at the same time. This doesn't happen right handed though. I'm getting a 69 as I reckon the side button might be better for me...
This reminds me of an issue I have with my Sigelei 8W. When I turn the button lock, I have to be very careful not to loosen the button at the same time. I've figured out that I have to simultaneously hold the button against one finger to keep it still while turning the lock with other fingers.
My newest bottom button mod and atty my wife bought it in Manilla Sat. Am I a lucky guy or what!
You know, I tried that with my left hand tonight for the first time and it works for me too. Now I can vape and mouse at the same time
