DNA 30 only fires at 3.4V

I might have fried the chip, but ide like to see what you think and maybe i can repair this.

dna 30 with two 18650s in parallel.
Fresh batteries. charged in pairs.

I fire it on atomizers between .5 and 1.5, always yielding a result of 3.4 volts. anywhere between 8-30 watts is 3.4v while 7-8 watts is 3.8v.



could this be a short in the chip?

what should i do here

Maybe Evolv pulled their heads out if their butts and threw in a bucking circuit..

Then again Evolv chips have always been able to fire well below those voltage numbers anyway.

For the OP: Sounds like the chip is bad, send it to evolv for replacement, and be happy evolv has its head in the right place to offer that service.
