hybrid 510 connection

i have all 3 of the kanger subtanks; the plus, mini, and nano. i do love all three of them. recently though, i have been seeing more and more warnings and incidents about hybrid 510 connections exploding and whatnot. i currently use the three tanks on two different VW devices, one from my local vape shop and the kanger k-box.

i guess my main question is should i be worried about using these tanks? and what is the difference between a hybrid 510 connection and a 510 connection on say, the plume veil clone i have?

ps...i only use sony vtc 4 batteries on all my devices.

Mike, as long as you haven't modified your tanks or mods you're completely fine. A "hybrid" connection is where the tank is made to screw directly to the battery.

Many of the recent problems have to do using a RTA/RDA/clearomizer (with a short or non-adjustable pin) on a "hybrid top cap" mech mod.
