Lavatube case malfunction

So, this happened today:

Whoops. Any idea how I can get it back on? It seems my brute force method doesn't work, but thankfully I didn't break it any further. It just won't go back on all the way. Is there a certain alignment I have to have it at for it to pop back on? Hopefully somebody here has some experience with these original Lavatubes. Thank you!

Take the battery out, remove the tank, epoxy in place. Flip it end for end atty end on table and give a slight tap with a hammer to seat it all the way. Common problem BTW

Thanks for the quick response. It doesn't want to seat all the way it seems. I can get one side down but the other side is still partly up. Still if I can get some epoxy and keep it that way it's still functional. Is it possible it bent enough when it broke to keep it from seating correctly? That's my biggest mystery at the moment is why it won't just pop back on.
