I'm not at all familiar with the GEB batteries, and could find no specifications in the C rating or the continuous discharge rate. I would not use those batteries in a mod until those stats can be confirmed.

The Samsung battery should also not be used.

My research says the Samsung ICR18650 2600mAh battery is a protected ICR battery. This means its chemistry is not "safe-chemistry" nor is it "high-drain". Regulated mods typically perform best with high drain batteries, as their buck boost processors need the high drain ability to do higher voltage production. ICR batteries typically have insufficient amperage to safely fire regulated mods at high voltages, RBAs or Kick modules, usually less than 5 amps. The Kick comes with instructions recommending its use with only IMR high drain batteries in mechanical mods.

Below is a list of recommended IMR or Hybrid batteries which I have collected for both mechanical and regulated mods. Pay attention to the identifying numbers and letters when choosing a battery.

Special IMR/IMR batteries are required for safe sub-ohm vaping: batteries with a continuous discharge rate (CDR) of 20 amps or more are required. These batteries insure only using 80% of their capacity and allow some safe headroom for added safety with sub-ohms.

AW IMR
18650 2000mah 10Amp CDR
18650 1600mah 24A
18490 (1100mah) 8.8A (16.5A?)
18350 (700mah) 6A

MNKE IMR
18650 1500mah 20A

Panasonic or Orbtronic hybrid
CGR18650CH (IMR/hybrid) 2250mAh 10A
NCR18650PD (LiNiCoAl) 2900mAh 10A
Orbtronic 18650 SX22 (hybrid) 2000mAh 22A

Samsung hybrid (LiNiCoMnP)
INR18650-22P 2200mAh 10A
INR18650-20R 2000mah 22A

Sony
us18650v3 IMR 2250mAh 10A
us18650vct3 (hybrid) 1600mAh 30A

EH IMR
18650 2000 mAh 16A
18500 1100 mAh 8.8A
18350 800 mAh 6.4A

Efest IMR
18650 (IMR/hybrid) 2250mAh 10A
18650 2000mAh 10A
18650 1600mAh 30A
18490 1100mah 8.8A
18350 800mah 6.4A

When using sub-ohms, you need to know the amps in continuous discharge rating for your battery, measure the ohm rating of your coil, and then use the ohm's law calculator below to find the amp draw the coil will pull from the battery. Never exceed the amp draw of your battery.

If you can not understand the above information, you have no business doing sub-ohms.

Some of my favorite batteries are the grey Panasonic CGR18650CH cause they're good for moderate builds and are some of the best for mechs. They have a drain of 10A and are 2250 mAh.

What I use now, however, are Sony US18650VTC3 because they have an insane drain of 30A. Meaning you can literally do .1 ohm builds on a mech without them blowing up. They're also pretty cheap at like $11.76 at fasttech for 2 of them.
