I just ordered my new mod a KSD Kmax VV. Do any of you have Experience with these? I got a few questions Regarding it...
It does not include a battery. What is the best compatible battery 18350, 18500 or 18650?
What kind of tank do you guys recommend for functionality and Style? I am ordering the stuff as I speak so answers ASAP would be great.

Thanks for your time and help in advance.

Regulated mods require IMR high drain batteries. Below are the recommended name-brand IMR batteries best suited for your mod. If planning on using sub-ohm coils < 0.5 ohm on an RBA, choose a battery with 20 or more amps continuous discharge rate. Expect rapid battery draining if using sub ohm.

AW IMR
18650 2000mah 10Amps continuous discharge rate
18650 1600mah 24A

Panasonic or Orbtronic hybrid
CGR18650CH (IMR/Li Ion hybrid) 2250mAh 10A
NCR18650PD (high drain-high capacity) 2900mAh 10A

Samsung hybrid (LiNiCoMnP)
INR18650-20R 2000mah 20A

MNKE IMR
IMR18650 1500mah 20A

Sony IMR
us18650v3 IMR 2250mAh 10A

EFEST IMR
18650 2000mah 10A

AW IMR
19490 (1100mah) 8.8./16.5A ?

AW IMR
18350 (700mah) 6A

Efest IMR
18350 (600mah) 6A

What type of tank are you looking for? Clearotank, cartotank, or RBA tank?

It's a telescoping device so you can use any of the batteries. The bigger ones will obviously make it longer but you'll get longer use out of a 18650 battery than a 18350 one.

I know the bigger ones will last longer. I am just wondering witch one would be best. Can I use 18350 button tops or do they have to be flat ones?

I am looking for a clearotank style. I have had issues with the Cartotanks and them dry hitting an such. The wick systems are better imo
Many clearotank users like the Kanger Protank. I have the Protank 1 & 2. Nice tanks, heavy polished stainless and with pyrex tubes that can withstand the tank-cracking flavors, bottom coil and bottom fill.

My personal preference is the Innokin iClear 30 tanks. Dual-top coils with 16 wicks. Easy top fill. Adjustable mouthpiece for comfort.
