Subox Mini Kit issue

Just picked up my subox and its working fine except about 50% of my attempted draws leads to the battery indicator flashing dead and no vapor. Battery is fully charged and this even happens while being charged, I've tried taking coil out and putting back in to no avail, any advice is appreciated.

Have you tried a different battery? Often when batteries fail they lose a lot of voltage quickly. What battery do you have in it?

Couldn't tell you, plain unmarked battery that the store clerk gave me until I can buy a better one, hopefully this is the issue and I'll get a new battery asap, thanks

The subox mini is recommended to have a 20A or better 18650 battery. I'd recommend a
Sony US18650VTC5
Sony 18650 VTC4 2100mAh 30a
Samsung INR18650-25R 2500mAh - RTD vapor
you won't need a charger, but an external one is nice to have. Batteries are one of the cheapest components and one of the most important. Knockoffs are much more likely to vent and create some pretty hazardous situations. The site I linked is a reputable one known to sell authentic batteries only.
