Wenge Wood Mechanical mod

Well this is not my first battery mod, but it is the first mod I felt is worthy of being posted.

Mechanical battery mod similar in design to others.
It holds one 18490/18500 battery
Wood is from Africa known as Wenge (Pronounced WHEN-gay)
The battery cover and the atty platform are aluminum with brass accents
Hand turned solid brass switch
510 flush connection

Lovely mod fit for a sir. I had some wenge but only small flat pieces, only enough to make a cellphone stand. I believe there is a mod size piece in my near future though. Really nice job on yours!

Looking very slick man, nice work! Does the bottom slide to the side for battery access or do you have to unscrew it?

Thanks folks! The bottom swivels left or right. The "front" measures right at
15/16 x 1/2 x 3 13/16

What finish did you use on the Wenge?
