wicking issues

so i posted this issue i'm having in the wick and wire section of ecf and didn't really get much response. i'm hoping to get a little more here.

here's what i posted earlier today:

"hey guys,

i've been on here for a few months now and i'm not sure if i should post this in the new members forum or not so forgive me if i've made a mistake.

i've been using RDAs for about a month or so now and i'm having an issue with my wicks. i have a pack of this type of Japanese Organic Cotton. so far it has been working great up until recently. i've started building dual coil builds and my wick has been turning into this (pictures below) after only a day or so. sometimes only after a few hours.

is something like this normal? how often do you guys re-wick?"

in addition to that, could it be because i'm using a mech mod? being that the mech mod is pushing full power instead of having the choice with vv/vw devices?

edit: i've rewicked the same dual coil 3 times in the past 24 hours already..

Why are you rewicking, because it gets discolored,or doesn't it function any more. If it's still working well, no reason to rewick. Doesn't look all that bad to me.
